I think it's important to note that we've played less home games than all but one other team (which is in the East), and that we've been competitive in most of our road games; our schedule has been fairly taxing in terms of rest as well, with more than one stretch of three games in four nights. As our home/road ratio approaches that of the teams immediately ahead of and around us (Denver, Dallas, Utah), I think there's a pretty good chance we'll move slightly ahead of them.

As long as we don't collapse, that is.

We have been hovering just slightly over .500 all season. If we are going to make a move on our record now seems the time to do it. With those home games coming up against teams that are not the elite then we have to take advantage! Quite frankly we need to wint them all. If we put up the same effort we did in the Laker and Nuggets game then I think we will. But we have to come out determined to win those games and take NOTHING for granted!

My God, it's so damn easy to make the playoffs. All we have to do is to win 3 of the next 4, and then go .500 the rest of the way. How can we possibly screw that up?

I will be mortified if we miss the playoffs.

0-1 so far. Any western team is capable of beating any other western team anywhere.

This team is dead in the water. If you can't even beat Seattle at home then there you need some MAJOR changes. It's a joke that you can't even build on the Lakers win because the team turns around and regresses.

if steve didn't throw away that ball, we could have won
if we didn't commit as many turnovers we could have won
if yao grabbed more rebounds, we could have won
if mo didn't get that that technical, we could have been tied
 is cato the next in line to be blamed?

anyway so does anyone know much about golden state?
i'm looking at their last 10 games and they're 5-5. although they lost to miami, orlando, new orleans, etc, they beat the kings, lakers, wolves, hawks, and knicks.

Golden State is a very good team- do not be mis lead by their record. I watched them beat Detroit earlier this season. Dampier is playing career big man ball. Richardson is a tough competitor. Dunleavy is a streaky shooter. you all know this -this will be difficult.

If the Rockets focus we can win...
