its that. because he is a few inches shorter then every other kid out there. little guy can shoot though
I see that on the court from 7 and 8 year olds every day, well, maybe from only 2 of them in the league....both on my team. The key is to hold that advantage as the other kids catch up, it will be interesting. DD
I'm impessed by his ball IQ at that age. He moves without the ball well, actually rolled on a screen(I know grown men who can't run a PNR!), get's to open spots, great court vision and was directing traffic. He may not be the next *insert HOF player here* but he has talent.
I agree, clearly they were running some screens and rolls and we practice that as well but his court awareness is very good, and his passing and timing was nice. It looks like coaching and passion to me, he clearly loves the game and while other kids are pounding the video game buttons, he is pounding the ball in his driveway... DD
Considering he was the shortest kid on the court he made some slick passes, his court vision was outstanding given his lack of height. Reminds me more of Kevin Johnson than Magic.
