its gonna be another double digit loss for the clippers at home. Dunleavy needs to be canned soon. This clippers team is outright terrible.

Honestly I think the Clipps are just tanking. Your top 4 players are hurt at the same time? Even the Clippers don't have luck that bad. Smells fishy to me. Camby is off the books this summer, Z-Bo in 2010. They've got their eyes on Griffin. A lineup of Diddy, Gordon, Thornton, Griffin, and whoever they get in FA will give that team some attention.

Perhaps you haven't been watching the Clippers very long. This is what they've done (what seems like) 17 out of the last 20 seasons. Somehow, some way, the high draft pick never ends up turning their team around.

They have been the most pathetic franchise in the NBA for quite some time, only recently surpassed by the disgraceful Grizzlies, who need to be shut down if they aren't taken away from Michael Heisley and moved to another city. I still can't believe they again named Lionel Hollins as their coach.

You know the joke about how Arkansas thanks God for Mississippi because it makes them 49th out of 50 instead of being in last place?

True but recently they've been going in a different direction. Sterling has anted up and paid guys like Davis and Brand and looking at Gordon and Thornton they might have a handle on this draft thing. Correct me if I'm wrong but Camby was brought in once Brand took off to Philly right? And then Randolph, obviously. PF and C off the books in the next 2 seasons. I think they're targeting Griffin/Thabeet and a complimentary player on the open market. Don has mastered the art of losing, maybe he's playing a different game now?

Just to add to that last post (can't edit) about what I feel the thought process was in bringing in Camby who is a free agent in 09. They're banking on a top 3 pick. If they can draft Griffin they groom him behind Z, let him walk in 2010 and re-sign Camby. If they get Thabeet they let Camby walk, give the rookie extended floor time like they're doing with Gordon and re-sign Z. Maybe I'm giving them too much credit
