This is the way that I look at it:

If we actually make it to the playoffs (...and I'm hoping we do), then that means we did something right. That means we started winning some games that matter.

To fight back at this point of the season and actually make the playoffs will be huge for the Rox.

There is no better time to peak than at the end of the season, going into the playoffs.

I agree playoffs are about matchups but Sacramento will sweep us.
The best we can do with their starting line up is tie them. And then there bench will destroy us.

    Starting line ups

    Francis- Bibby edge Francis
Mobley- Christie even Mobley better offense Christie beter defense
Posey - Peja edge Peja Allstar vs. Role player
Webber vs. Griffin edge Webber Allstrar vs. Role player
    Yao- Vlade edge Yao

    BEnch

B Jackson - Moochie Edge Jackson
    J. Jackson - Hawkins Edge Jackson
Torgolu - Rice even this year. Rice our only vet. will be very valuable
Taylor- Keon Clark even offense v. Defense
    Pollard - Cato even bangers.

    Experience - edge Sacramento
    Offense- Sacramento
    Defense- Houston
    Refs- Edge Sacramento
    Homecourt- Sacramento
Coach- Rudy just because he has 2 rings and Adelman has none.

As much as i love Houston we should try to avoid Sacramento and san Antonio until the 2nd or 3rd round.

I feel more comfortable playing against Dallas then Sacrameno.

Also, in big games Dallas's offense seems to disappear in the 4th quarter.
Ex. against LA , Minnesota, Sacramento

Yeah......well it seems like in the first half.....their offense is nonexistent. BUT IN THE THIRD QUARTER.......they just wake up and come back from like 20 points to win by like 20 points. It's sad......it would be humiliating to have that happen again...

The Kings aren't capable of making all those 3's. But yes. Their bench is way better than ours......

So either way. We're screwed. :(

THE ROCKETS CAN GO ON A 7 GAME WINNING STREAK. It's possible...

Dallas are upset waiting to happen while Sac Town are determined to win it all this year. If I've to choose one to face, I would choose Dallas despite our regular season record against them.

We have no prayer to win a series. Especially since the 1st round will be 7-games.

I'm sure teams trembling at the thought of the Rockets defense and physical play, the two vital aspects to playoff basketball.

    Please.

Our piss poor rotational defense vs the Mavs outside shooting= Dal scoring 115 a game.

There is no team the Rockets really match up well with. The sole reason is because we are so weak at PF.

To me, the ideal realistic outcome for this season would be to make the playoffs and win at least one game. This would teach them what it takes to win in the playoffs, and speed the development of the team.

When did I say we can beat Dallas? I just said that out of Dallas and Sac Town I prefer Dallas. Against Kings, we might have 10% chance of upsetting them. Against Mavs, I think we have 20%, still slim chance but a higher chance.

I would say we have a 40% chance of upsetting Kings, but 2% chance upsetting Mavericks. Rockets just don't have answers for team that can shoot well from parimeters.

I would say we have 20% possibility to upset the Kings, 15% with the Mavs.
