Goran Dragic is a very good point guard that can backup Lowry. Maybe even capable of starting but defense is a big concern.

AB is not known for his D either.

If Thabeet can play 20 mins a game, it will be huge. Dude is 7'3". Adelman give him a chance to step on the court?

You need to check out the other thread. Dragic is 27th in the league OVERALL in isolation defensive situations. Brooks is nearly 300th.

I liked Ish a lot. I thought if he gets mins, he will be our best passer on the team. He has a lot of potential to be good. He needs to work on his offense.

    saying that Dragic should start?

I would have thought more players would get into isolation defensive plays than just 300.

After JJ's rumored buyout, and knowing how RA likes to go with people he knows, I expect something like this.

    Lowry / Dragic
    Martin / Lee
    Buddinger / Lee
    Scola / Patterson
    Hayes / Miller

This is what id like to see.

    Lowry / Dragic
    Martin / Twill
    Lee / Bud
    Scola / Pat
    Hayes / Thabeet

There is this guy named DeMarre Carroll traded to the Rockets from Memphis too. It is mentioned in the Ch. 11 news as well as in the Chronicle.

Ish should be the back-up until Dragic "proves himself"... Ish "has been here longer"

Chronicle isn't reporting Ish being traded

Though I should be more eloquent and more of a Rockets supporter (which I have always been) I have to vent, THIS TEAM SUCKS!!

Terrible moves! Absolutely Terrible freaking trades!!!! We literally traded 3 times the amount of talent as what we got in!!

I am very, very disappointed in how this all unfolded today. I mean to even THINK of trading for Thabeet is idiotic but to trade your team captain, your glue, the brains behind the team for such garbage is just un-freakin'-believable!!

Look at the big picture, we traded:
    - Rudy Gay
    - Shane Battier
    - Ish Smith

    for

    - Hasheem Thabeet
    - 1st round pick

    I'M MAD!!!!!

This season is pretty much thrown away. Twill might get some playing time now. Next offseason will be interesting with a lot picks.

How can yo trade Rudy Gay and Shane Battier together? if we kept Gay, Battier wouldn't be a Rocket.

It's like Shane Battier + Ish Thabeet + 1st rounder + 5 good years of service from Battier.

I hate to see Battier go though, he's having a very good season. This move means Rockets is rebuilding, look long term.

Morey got Dragic thinking that the Rockets make it to the 8th seed and play the Spurs, the team Dragic unexpectedly blew up against, hahahaha. Oh god..... :( This is such a disaster I don't have any more words.
