Just beat the Celtics tonight in Boston. One of the worst teams in the league has won 6 of their last 7, including several games the Rockets recently lost, like Dallas, Philly and Boston on the road and San Antonio at home. They also beat the T-Wolves and, well, the Rockets.

This basically coincided with the return of Eric Gordon.

You knew their future was bright when they got Anthony Davis... but is this team legit right now?

If Gordon can stay healthy , they can fight for a playoff spot next year.... But we all know Gordon wont stay healthy

The Rockets win gave them momentum. We'll gladly take credit.

Greivis Vasquez has been the most surprising player from their team. MIP candidate.

Vasquez, Gordon, Anderson and Davis. Solid foundation right there.

The Western Conference is so stacked. Next season the Hornets look like they'll be in the play-off race, Dallas will reload, the Lakers should improve, Portland are also rebuilding with an LMA, Lillard, Matthews, Batum core that will continue to develop and the Jazz just need some decent perimeter scorers. #westconferenceproblems

The thing is ... Gordan hasn't exactly played that well, and didn't play in a couple of games due to precaution (I think back-to-backs).

Taking Rivers out already helps NOH a lot.

Now the West has only two crappy teams - Sacramento and Phoenix.

We all know, if you're building your team around an injury-riddled star on a hefty contract... you're going to have a bad time.

Doesn't look good for the Rockets, when you have current lottery teams like NOH, Lakers, Mavs playing better now.

It's such a weird league right now... a team like the Hornets can look hot, but they'd get shutdown against the same teams they beat in a playoff series. The way they're constructed, no, I don't think they are anything to worry about, not until Davis becomes a leader with go-to moves and Gordon proves he can stay healthy.

Right now, they're winning. That's all they're doing. In the end, winning a few games isn't a big deal in this league right now.

Aside from Gordon, another change they've made is Aminu is back in the lineup and they're brotating the post players more.

I don't know if that is true when they are healthy, but given harden never gets hurt and Gordon is always hurt give me James.

They play elite defense. Not surprised.
