basso were you trying make an analogy to the whole Plame affair or were you not? It seemed obvious to some that you were trying to do that. However it was so unclear and circumstances weren't at all the same that the analogy didn't make that much sense. If you are making the analogy then you should illustrate the relationship.
OK let's read your statement then. Your statement bears no relation to reality. Inadvertent disclosure does in fact happen. And to top it off, how is this "politically motivated" - given that the US Atty for Maryland is a Bush appointee, like all current USA's, as Obabma hasn't had a chance to put his people in yet. So we have established not only is this a terrible analogy, but it fails as a statement of facts as we know them at this stage. Anything else?
Steele doing just what i expected... spending all his time in front of cameras. And while I'm loving it, I agree with the criticisms here... I don't think he's smart enough to understand, much less perform in, his job. He'll be gone by the end of Summer.
With his street gangsta persona, who's going to be tough enough to tell him to go? They better be ready for a drive by.

I'm just going to take this opportunity to pat myself on the back. Even I'm a little surprised by how quickly Steele crashed and burned. From the first page of the thread back in November-
Steele is a dead RNC chairman walking. He will be gone in a few days. This is too much flak to overcome and he can only blame himself.
