Clarification: was there a highlight-reel JR Smith dunk late in the game?

    When was it?

was just going off the youtube vid that was posted

on pg 3, the vid that's embedded: 4:10 left in 4th quarter on fastbreak jr smith does a reverse dunk...not very flashy, but for the knicks i'm sure that'd be reason enough to protect their home court

It's not all Melo's fault (he didn't start it), but I did lose what little respect I had for him after he sucker-punched that dude, THEN ran away. Both moves are very vagina-like!!

There are moe fights in the NFL than the NBA in about 1/5 the number of games.

Yes, there was a JR Smith breakaway dunk in the 4th Q, but I can't remember when exactly it happened (somewhere around the 5 minute mark if I recall correctly).

but once again, they're paid to hit each other. if you're spending 60 minutes trying to kill each other, then it's bound to happen

Going by the Indiana brawl, I'll guess he gets a minimum of 20.

yeah becuase they beat the hell out've eachother on the field. And when it happens in the NFL they are in full pads and usually have their helmets on. More like shoving matches.

    LOL

well, that was part of it. I just hate this guy. I am a 5-6 PG and I usually love little guys who make it to the NBA, but there is something special about this guy that makes me hate his guts.

first, he stole the dunk contest from Iguodola. Andre clearly got robbed.
then, he gets to NBA TV top 10 every single time for doing some stupid r****ded move
that's not mentioning the block on Yao and the fact that he goes off on us every time we play the knicks
finally, the knicks and the Lakers are my most hated teams. I hate them, I really do. maybe because officials always give them calls. maybe because the Lakers have Kobe and the knicks have Isiah as head coach. plus the knicks had Starks and Ewing and they used to get every call and Hakeem would get robbed by the officials everytime we played them.

I think the Nuggets will be suspended the most because the league loves the knicks. I dont know why. even ESPN love the knicks. the freakin reporter made Carmelo a murderer while completely ignoring what the midget did.

This is just unreal. Melo does so much good in the community, but it seems that once a year he just reverts to doing something incredibly stupid that the media can hang on. I know it was an emotional moment. I know he and JR are great buddies, but for crying out loud JUST WALK AWAY. Hopefully this will be the last stupid mistake and he'll grow up for good now.

All that good will he had built up just got flushed down the drain.

Rockets play Denver twice in their next 16 games. I hope JR & Melo get the suspensions they deserve.

for some reason, this reminded my of Juwan Howard. Juwan is a great guy for brawls. even though he is supposedly a "class act", I remember seeing him b*tch slaps a guy behind the official. he was defending Yao and he just reached out and slapped the guy and the poor guy didn't know where the slap came from. it was hilarious. does anyone remember what game that was from? I know it's from 04-05 but I forgot what game was it. youtube?

Wanna bet that Isiah sent in Collins to pull that punk move on JR Smith? I didn't even suspect it until I heard him in the post game conference bringing it up, talking about how he thought the Nuggs were showing them up.

Isiah is a nasty SOB and has always been one, I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised if he was trying to get back at Karl for showing him up like that (Of course, there is also the whole Larry Brown situation).

Melo is definitely going to get more than ten, Nate probably will get around ten games for this. JR and Collins probably 5-10 games each.

you gotta remember that you lose your temper when you are in a situation like that and a 4-2 midget and his buddies are standing around ur teammate and best friend and trying to kick his a$$. I would've done the same thing (even though I am 5-6 120 pounds) but I wouldn't run away afterwards. I would've stayed (and probably got my a$$ kicked by 6 footers) :D

Nate Robinson is a b****. He was in the fray the whole time but not in the fray. Everytime someone focused their attention on him, he ran away and everytime someone had their back turned he'd be back yapping. His new nickname (or Knickname..har dee har har) should be Nate "The Pomeranian" Robinson.

I'm pretty sure JR Smith and Collins would have just stared each other down until the refs separated them but lil grizzly turd Nate Robinson had to escalate the situation.
