You must be a low person to wish bad things upon a stranger's parents.

But back to the fight...who the hell is Mardy Collins?

It's only funny if you don't have to watch him pull a Moochie Norris 82 times a year. I swear to God, at least once a game you will see him dribble for 22 seconds, jump into a defender, realize his shot is going to be blocked and then try to pass the ball to a teammate. The only problem is that everyone has seen him jump by that point so they've turned to the basket and started fighting for rebounding position. Boykins is definitley not the answer for any of the Nugs woes right now. In fact, he's the cause of a lot of them.

Najera didn't do anything wrong. He's in the same boat as Camby, Dre, David Lee and another Knick (I'm forgetting who the other Knick was that was kicked out but not involved). They were kicked out because the game was almost over and tehy wanted to try to restore some normalcy.

I love Eddie. There's a reason the Nugs have played better with him and Evans manning the four than with K-Mart. He busts his ass and is a favorite of mine. How can you not love a guy on your team who does nothing but bust his ass, play defense and make his teammates look better?

One of the Knicks draft picks from this past draft. I think he was a second round pick.

Thanks I needed some clarification on that. But yea..that still makes me ask...who the hell is Mardy Collins? Did Zeke promise him more PT when he comes back from his suspension if he takes Smith out?

I was so upset when SI magazine put Melo's picture on the front cover and say that he and both Lebron and D-Wade are "ready to lead the league into a new golden era".

What a slap in the face! What do you say now SI?

Carmela is such a pu$$y! She should be suspended 5 games for throwing
that sucker punch, and 15 games for running away like a chicken. :D

Nate Robinson should also be suspended 10+ games as well. But I respect
him for not backing down from anybody.

Yessssssss, sucks that it happened, but I find it entertaining.

Also sucks that I have JR and Carmelo on my fantasy team, gotta sell them fast!

I like Carmello Anthony a lot more now.

Mardy Collins and Nate Robinson are idiots.

I respect Eduardo Najera for not roundhousing Jared Jeffries' face off when he had the chance. (Jeffries almost pantsing him)

Nate Robinson is such a lose when compared to the likes of Spud Webb, Mugsy Boques, and Earl Boykins. He reminds me of that "This is your brains on drugs" guy that's all cracked out. I only wish JR Smith had thrown him a little further....makes for good comedy.

Seriously, though, who wouldn't have payed to see Earl Boykins come off the bench to lay the smackdown on Nate Robinson.

I am glad to see that David Lee stayed out of it (at least at first glance). Of course, he was probably scared to death.

The foul that started the whole thing was completely uncalled for, and Mardy Collins should get the bulk of the suspension, to go along with his new black eye, for starting the whole thing.

    My guess at the suspensions:

    Collins: 10 games

    JR Smith: 6 games

    Carmello: 8 Games

    Nate Robinson: 8 games

    Jared Jeffries: 4 games

You don't think the guy who got 67 tries in the dunk contest is going to get in heavy trouble, do you?

Let me re-evaluate after watching again:

    Collins : 6 games

    JR Smith: 6 Games

    Carmello: 10 games

Nate Robinson (who I feel really started/escalated the whole thing): 12 games

    Jeffries: 4 games

Oh man.. so much for Robinson defending his Slam Dunk title this year

I didn't watch the game, I saw the highlights on ESPN. I was expecting more fist swinging and uppercuts and such, but everyone knows that's asking too much from NBA fights. On the bright side, good thing there were no "rudy t" incidents. Although sometimes I can't help but think Nate deserves it for being so damn annoying.

Also on a lighter note, at least this will postpone the Nugg's from tying it up with us for the no. 6 spot.

I wonder what Stern is gonna do now. I hope he doesn't use this incident as an excuse to make up more silly rules.

Yeah man, Carmelo was kicking ass this week in Salary Cap Challenge...to bad he had to punch somebody. Jeebus, at least he could have waited until next game so that we'd have our new weekly trades by then. How's in going in your league Omer? All 3 of my teams are sitting at the top, with my third team just making it there tonight...but they're gonna lose out on 45 valuable points come Carmelo's next game. I'm dominating my 80 team league man...so awesome. Damn you Knicks!!! :D I really hope Eddie Curry can pick up his game now that he's one of the few Knicks left on the active roster the next game.

I am so sad about Melo. :( :( That sucker punch was completely classless chicken garbage. Unless he publicly acknowledges his failure in this event the proper way, he may never earn my respect again. What a chicken! You talk trash, sucker punch a guy and then run like the wind the other way!? No class and no guts. I haven't seen ESPN but I'm not surprised Melo is a big focus. What else would you expect?

Nate Robinson and J.R. Smith are both lunatics who cannot be trusted to be key players on a contending team. They should get the longest suspensions.

I'm sick about this. David Stern, Billy Hunter and other leaders within the Players Association have to step up to the plate and make an example of what happened. Garbage like this must be punished swiftly and severely. The foul was cheap but Robinson, J.R. Smith and Melo are the reason things flew out of control.

As the commissioner of the NBA, I'm truly stunt and embarrassed to see another accident like this happen.

They will suspended for the remaining of the NBA season without pay, and during the suspension, they're resctricted to enter any NBA arenas, and they will fined 1 millions dollars.

That was so weak. The only emphatic thing was Melo's punch/slap on Collins. Then he ruined that by backing up all the way to half court. Nate Robinson was the only guy who really wanted to fight, he's definitely got small man syndrome.

 When Carmelo anthony is having his best season, he goes of to ruin it by throwing a couple of punches. Man, I sometimes think the NBA needs to inject every player with a sedative just to calm them down during the game. If the Pistons-Pacers brawl had such heavy suspensions, look for Nate Robinson and Carmelo to have season long suspensions. Stern will do his best to keep this quiet though.
