What do we have to give them in exchange?

I'm sure D. Morey is smart enough to say no to any proposal involving Sean Williams.

Luther Head + 2nd rounder for a conditional 2nd rounder sounds about right.

Why not? A free look at a local kid who seems to be having maturity issues, maybe he grows up here?

    thats terrible

if anything it should be luther just for their second pick not luther and a second round for a conditional second round.

heck if morey can trade luther than he probably lets him walk after the end of this season and frees up some cap space (though small)

I don't recall any boo-birds either, although he deserved them after his performance in the playoffs the past two years. All the same, I mean here mostly. He's been everybody's whipping boy. Even when he played well it wasn't "Great job!" it was "Talk to me when he goes 1-9 the next game". I guess that type of pessimistic, negative attitude happens anywhere it just seemed to happen at an extreme level with Luther, IMO.

Hopefully we can get a pick for Luther. Sean Williams looked great last year and has tons of potential, but seeing his maturity issues carrying over to the NBA is a bad sign. I'd rather have the pick.

Poor Luther...if he could learn how to handle the ball better he could be a solid player.

I would be very interested in Josh Boone, he's a solid defender, he's athletic and 6-10/11.

he wouldn't get any minutes at all if we got him and would probably just end up being cut like Gerald Greene.

The reports I've heard about Williams are that his basketball IQ is so low that even D-league coaches were amazed at his lack of basketball acumen. Classic case of all brawn and no brains. Sucking in the D-league is never, ever a good sign. (This, incidentally, is also the reason why Joey Dorsey will probably never play another game as a Rocket again barring another round of injuries ... Morey regrets drafting him).

I think Sean Williams just needs to be surrounded by veterans. He played good when Jason kidd was his point guard but after Kidd was traded Sean didn't have no one to mentor him. He's a freakish athlete I believe the Rockets can develop this kid.

Agree. At least the rockets would get a 4 that could block some shots.
