Adams + Capela + 2 SRPs (2027, 2031) to MIL for Myles Turner?

The Rockets don't have a play maker to really issue the need for a sort of modern NBA rim running center.

IMO, I think the Rockets should move on from Sengun, move Jabari to the 5 (while putting his butt in the weight room), and change the style of play to that of a switch everything, athletic, fast style of play.

The future of your franchise... that you say is untouchable.... is Amen Thompson right???..... Why the hell are we then building a roster that is the exact opposite of what Amen needs in order for him to be the best version of himself???

I just don't really get it.

I’m not as high as some on Turner, but I’d do this. I’d also do FVV + Capela and SRPs.

People complaining 32 yr old Adams is washed and your target is 30 yr old Myles Turner. Turner is making too much money almost double Adams for 12/5.

Like I keep telling people we need to run it back and if it flops every old dude expires within 2 yrs. Trading these guys a year earlier and losing draft picks is just way too dumb.

We don't only need a defensively capable 5, but one that can reliably shoot so we can play Senun at the 4 without killing the spacing, be able to host 4/5 out lineups.

Adams to team X for expiring(s) and 2nds

Expiring, Clint, DFS, 2nds via Hou and 3rd team to Bucks

    Myles Turner, Prince to Rockets

    Sign a vet mind 3rd C (Richards, Eubanks, Bassey), re-sign Eason/Okogie

    Roster

    Van-Vleet / Sheppard / Thornton
    Thompson / Smart
    Durant / Okogie / Bogdanovic
    Smith / Eason / Prince
    Sengun / Turner / FA

Center depth is a complete non issue on this team. There are plenty of other things to fix.

It's the dynamic that Myles Turner could bring to the team. I don't disagree with the numbers not being up to par with the money he makes, however, he is a good defensive center that can spread the court since he is a threat from the three point line. His rebounding numbers are putrid for a 7-foot athletic guy with length, but he would be a much more viable option than Steven or Clint.

If he that good Giannis wouldnt leave Bucks. At 12/5 his scoring rate is practically the same as Clint who everyone is dogging for scoring 8/9 in 20 mins. Sure Clint cant shoot 3s like Turner but we already have KD and Jabari. Put Jabari at C, KD at 4 and you have literally Turner.

We arent putting out a 5 man out lineup as long as Sengun and Amen are on the team.

4 man out lineup is already doable without any trades.

    Jabari
    KD
    Amen
    Tari/Reed
    FVV

    or
    Sengun
    Jabari
    KD
    Tari/Reed
    FVV

Theres no need to use extra resources for Turner who is massively overpaid and overhyped.

No you don't. Turner is more physical and a better defender

If he so physical why Jabari gets more rebs than him? Better defender? Sure. Jabari is 22 and Turner is 30 I would expect the 8 yr older guy to be better at D right now.

A team of PFs: Durant, Smith, Sengun, and Tari (who has yet to prove he's a guard).
Being able to go big and get a body on the court that can absorb contact, crash the glass, and block shots is much needed.

Maybe we'll have good fortune, and Oscar can give us productive minutes.

They might bite for 1 frp. I’m not crazy about Turner, but he is a stretch center that is an ok rim protector. His contract is not nearly as caustic as people believe. If we can get a haul for Sengun and trade for Turner with only 1 pick, it would be a “yes” for me. Don’t need Turner unless Sengun is moved and she shouldn’t be moved without a good player or two and multiple picks, unless it is in package for a star.

Andre Drummond is still an elite rebounder who can bring strength in the middle.
