Good points. Why couldnt this thread just be like this? Focused on cheerleading and dancing at sporting events being an unnecessary function? They should have left religion and America's immorality totally out of it. On that point, cheerleading hasnt been true cheerleading for decades. On the school level its about popularity and on the pro level its just for getting some facial exposure to other things. Their interests have jack SQUAT to do with the team. Its not even called cheerleading in the NBA, they're all "dancers" which would partly mean they are "entertainers". Something separate of rooting on the team entirely. Red Rowdies are more cheerleader than the RPD will ever be Laker Girls are the most popular "cheerleaders" of the NBA. I've been to a few Laker games, and I think no one male or female really cares a flip about them. If they decided to stop having Laker Girls I doubt there would be much outcry to save them imo...

America needs more of this! Rappers have screwed it up for the rest of us guys by calling girls hoes in every other song. That youz' a hoe song by Ludacris especially. Before rap blew up, girls were a lot more scandalous, and slutty. Men in the 80s, 70s, and especially the 60s had it a lot easier. They got laid with very little to no game thanks to Rock music.

I love women...I enjoy their company...I appreciate the fact they are "from another planet"...I enjoy looking at attractive women and probably will until my last breath...I greatly enjoy the touch, feel and smell of a woman... I don't go to strip clubs because fake attention for what's in my wallet disgusts me...I was wise to "gold diggers" at an early age and have always avoided dating them...I couldn't care less whether the NBA has cheerleaders or not...cheerleaders are not the reason I attend a game or watch on NBALP... Although not currently in a male-female relationship, at this point in life, I am mature enough to look at the menu without ordering anything. Among the last things in this world I'd want is someone from a pulpit telling me what I can or can not look at and what a woman should or should not wear.
Good point. It's ok that some girl is cheering for her team. Dancing is ok. But those exotic moves are really too much to look especially for the youth. I think people are paying money for the game bu not for those exotic moves. If they do, they could go to a strip club. So by selling beauties' butts to catch people's eye balls is really inappropriate . If I go one step further, this phenomenon might be educating people that it's ok to be slutty publicly, IMO.
Dude, nobody pays money just to see the cheerleaders. That is just an added perk to the game. More entertainment. LOL @ calling those exotic moves. You must have not been too many strip clubs or been to the wrong ones. What they're doing is dancing. Yes, sometimes dancing to dance music will make you do moves with your body. What they do is not even close to what a stripper can do on a pole or on your lap. I don't think cheerleaders dancing at a game is educating people that its ok to be "slutty publicly". People aren't idiots. It's not like you see cheerleaders on the corner lights doing "exotic moves". C'mon guys, take it easy. If they don't have a problem being cheerleaders, why should anyone else have a problem?
