You have not played quality Texas Golf until you have played San Jac Muni...Arguably the finest course in our great state. :)

where you play at man? quick suggestion for a cheap course in austin , BERGSTROM CEDARS, if you've never played it, 10 on the weekdays , 15 on the weekend, a real cheap course and course that isnt bad at all, I play it all the time! my theory is it would be better to play alot on a less expensive course, then a few times on an expensive course, its a pretty nice little course, ya I am so obsessed w/ golf , I am playing tommorow actually, I'm high 80's usually , b/c Ive just gotten back into it in the last few months, when I was in middle school I was low 80's etc..........damn I love golf

I prefer to play 9 holes or 18, even if it costs a little more. :D

Actually, they recently remodeled the entire course and it is supposedly better than it used to be. I think you can play unlimited for around $7. Can't beat that anywhere...only problem is you really can't bust out your driver and let it rip. Course is too small. Good iron practice course...greens used to be about the size of a pitcher's mound.

I played there alot when I was a kid, it was cheap and fun ---the perfect course to learn on. I rag on it, but only because I love it :)
I have fun going to the driving range so any course is fun for me-especially now that "Billagins" have dropped my score into the 70's. ;)

My lowest handicap was around a 10. That was when I was in college in San Antonio. I lived across the road from Cedar Creek and La Cantera. Only got to play La Cantera once, but Cedar Creek had a deal for all students: $5 after 4pm as much as you could finish and it was NOT a Mickey Mouse course. A couple of years ago it was in the top 50 courses in Golf Digests Courses that YOU can play. I miss that course a lot. May have to make a road trip up just to play it and La Cantera one weekend.
