Sounds good... I'd seen it done before, and figured it might not be the most popular suggestion... but I put it out there anyway. We should still do everything possible to keep our regional delegate a BBSer...

I've started looking at other forums and some of them are downright scary (how well-organized they are).

No, because you have to be a member of the UN to endorse other countries. If the entire region only has one UN delegate, our voice will be very weak.

Check out The Pacific... they have thousands of nations... and their delegate has 296 endorsements... a pretty powerful voice.

Yeah, that was just a joke and not meant to be offensive, so if it was in poor taste, feel free to rag on Episcopalians until you feel better.

In the meantime, the great region of Texas has 224 nations and even has an off-site forum:
    http://invisionfree.com/forums/Texas/
World Factbook Entry: Texas is a large friendly region where freedom is considered one of its greatest resources. Texas is a proud region and home to many diverse nations. Texas is a Member of The Triumvirate with allies Wysteria and The Heartland. We are also allied with Nasicournia. We are always welcoming new nations. Texas also has a Government, Constitution, Elections and many inter-regional Sporting Events. Come on down! New nations are encouraged to register on our offsite Texas Forum using their nation name:

Whoever is elected Secretary of Foreign Relations may want to establish a relationship with these guys.

No, mostly I just find it funny that a lot of people find it difficult to imagine Mormons not living in Utah. If it helps to validate you, though, I actually DO live in Utah.

    :)

I graduated from BYU, and landed a full-time job nearby, so I'm stuck here until I can get back down to Texas.

And some people suggested I was a Utah operative working for the other side!

We have one in our midst!!! Public flogging demanded! If you step foot in Blendt Toast, prepare to have stinky cheese thrown in your direction.

I appreciate that, but I will drop out of the race due to time conflicts with law school, act as a consultant, and endorse Dark Horse for the job.

One more suggestion... we might want to take this part out of our Rocketstonville World Factbook entry... "and to one day conquer and demolish the state of Utah."

Perhaps we could just rid the world of the Utah Jazz and all its blind fandom, not necessarily mention demolishing the state of Utah?

I won't have time to really add my comments until later tonight (and I'd really like to), but I'd like to nominate kpsta as Secretary of Intelligence.

The United States of Women and Gary, the nation in rocketstonville with the second best healthcare, needs endorsements for UN entry.

You know, this is getting complex. If we want to do this right, we're going to need a separate forum, with threads for all these topics we have going on.

I know that proboards.com offers free BBS's with the same look-and-feel as this BBS.

Unfortunately, I'm swamped at work and can't set it up.

If someone else wants to, that would be ubercool.
