Good post. I agree completely. The only traffic accident I had that was deemed my fault was when these idiot farmers decided to turn on this old country road WITHOUT using their blinkers. Since I hit them from behind, I had to pay (and they even admitted to the sheriff that they didn't use their turn signal). This and people spelling "lose" as "loose" drives me crazy. I'll see someone say (or really write), "I hope that our team won't loose this game!" I mean how hard is it to know that lose has only 1 o in it?
just people in general, really. Especially people who say they'll do something and never get it done. I don't want to hear that you'll do it, I want you to do it. I have no tolerance for unreliable people.
The people who cash in their Pick 6 lottery tickets or a handful of scratch-offs, on weekday mornings in line before me. I go to work at 7 and usaully there is someone ( usually an older person) cashing in and taking their time.
People (mostly teenagers) who lived in Texas all their life that has a California accent. Californians White kids who thinks they are black. Spams Nascar
Swoly (or somebody else)...correct me if I'm wrong - but "vista" in spanish (meaning sight/view) is in fact pronounced "veesta."
I now cannot stand channel 1 on Time Warner Cable. When you turn the box on, it always starts at that channel, right? Well, before, the volume was really quiet (compared to the other channels), and everything was just fine. Recently, it appears that they "corrected" the low volume problem but then went too far and jacked up the channel volume beyond normal tolerances. So now, when I turn the box on, all I hear is ear-piercing commercials for TWC Digital Phone, which forces me to fumble for the remote and change the channel as quickly as possible. It's quite jarring and highly, highly annoying. Like pradaxpimp, the whole popped collars thing really annoys me as well. There's one guy at the business school who always wears his collar up, and I just want to punch him in the face for being a fashion r****d.
Other Asians who is CLEARLY talking trash about me behind my back (I can SEE them talking Viet/Chinese then looking and giggling) because I go in a Pho or Chinese restaurant asking questions about the menu. Look, not all Asians know about Viet or Chinese food (Especially when the menu doesn't have English translation). Get over it you FOBs! Also, this whole "Asian Pride" thing that was in the late 90's to early 00's. With the same spiked haircut and antennas.
Lying - Liars People using words out of context so that they lose their meaning Minutia-this is a work thing- we have young and old people that can get so bogged down in trivial details-slowing down meetings More to come
When I had TWCable in SA I had the option of choosing the channel the tv would go to when turned on. RR
I am in complete agreement with you on this. I've gone to the marq*e to watch a movie a couple of times with my gf and I notice SOO many high school and middle schoolers there. So annoying. Also to add to the list: Hot Topic
