They don't have enough of a vet presence so Thibs has become the driver with the whip. You can see on the face of the players, they don't seem to enjoy playing for him. He doesn't fit their strengths, they should've never let Rick leave he'd have those youngsters in the playoff picture. Once Thibs gets fired that team is gonna be great
Yes. in man defence he's pretty bad - but in comparison with team defence he's better. He is too weak to fight through screens and he has zero hustle stats. Keep in mind tht there are some times a year that he circles some games in his calendar in which he puts effort in. But in the rest 75+ games he is almost disengaged out there. There are some pay sites for advanced stats out there that track specific stats on D for any player ie blow bys etc and in those categories Wiggins simply sucks. That comes on top of the eye test that if you watch the Wolves a bit you would notice. Lavine is worse though in D.
Not sure how a team with that much talent could be so bad. My guess is that Minnesota probably regrets not going after MDA.
