Just because the webmaster of Stormfront endorses Ron Paul doesn't mean that Ron Paul supports a racist white supremacist agenda. Are you offended at Farrakahn and/or Obama?
Alarmed at Farrakhan's boldness in this statement... when he supposedly knows what Scripture says about making such claims. FWIW - Obama denounced Farrakhan's anti-Semitic statements, but said he can't stop someone from saying he's "a good guy." Obama has NOT denounced the messiah-speak.
Would you rather him line up his every day denouncing every little thing the wingers come up with at FOX and the Rush Limbaugh show? Seriously, that could consume his every day. "I, Barack Obama, denounce my fifth grade classmate who ate glue. I do not support eating glue for Americans. Next, I denounce Trader_Jorge, who once begged for my autograph; I denounce him and regret that I gave him my signature. Next, I denounce..." ... I'd rather him come up with a concrete recovery plan and describe it in elegant detail. And hey! What do you know.
For the record... I endorse B-Bob for most sensible poster... and I denounce T_J for being the most senseless. I just want him to answer all of them... once and for all... once... and be done with it.
I think your fears are unfounded. Let's assume the extreme conditions. If Obama said that God speaks to him when he makes his political Decisions, would that be any more different on the surface than him thinking he's a Savior? Should Obama have the intense pride to think he's the Messiah and trigger some end times scenario, do you think Christians would stand to accept Obama as their Messiah? I can afford Obama to be a very arrogant politician. I can also accept him harboring the notion that God put him there to do things. Many other presidents have claimed worse. While the notion of Obama thinking he is the Messiah is insulting, that situation would become a personal test. What are you worried about?
To clear things up and avoid confusion. Obama has never claimed to be a politician doing God's will. He has never suggested that Farrakhan should be listened to. In fact he's denounced Farrakhan. Farrakhan is far to the right of Obama. He doesn't believe in any sort of affirmative action, he doesn't believe in any type welfare for African Americans etc. What Farrakhan says here has absolutely zero to do with the way Obama will govern as president.
farrakhan is so 90's. i still haven't seen the video, but i wonder these same guys had to say about bush actually saying it was his mission from god or whatever to liberate iraq as well as other things.
