Hey, to be honest, Im a basketball fan like I said in a previous post, and I honestly think Memphis has a good team. I really believe Gasol has the potential to be a special player, but I think the platooning sometimes hurts him. Sure he whines and is a b**** and isnt the strongest on defense, but he is a pretty damn good offensive player in my opinion. I like the fact that he is aggressive and takes the ball to the hole. And yes Memphis is a very tough team and I like the way they usually hustle and play hard... Their record for wins when leading in 4th qrtr and coming back in the fourth is amazing With that said; however, Memphis X came into our house talkin Sh*T and disrepecting it (yes I understdan hes been a around a long time) and he was just being somewhat "playful." Well Im being "playful too... if a Memphis fan is on our board I really have no problems with it.... I just hope he knows he cant come in here talkin mess without getting some crow in exchange... Its all in good fun... Always defend your basket.... peace I mean if Memphis wouldve won.. i can only imagine the bombs he wouldve been dropping on us...dont let him off too easy guys!
This is just one game, and we caught Grizz flat footed. Even in their 7 winning games, some of them were less convincing than others. So Grizz is young rising team, but not a power house yet. We beat Minny and LA twice, we were capable of pulling this off anyway.
I wasn't in chat, just came back from watching the game with some friends. Actually, don't have an excuse to offer up and losing to the Rockets by 8, I don't see any reason to try to conjure one up. It was a tough, hard fought game. We have one more game at our place, so we will see how that goes. Now the struggle to hold on to 6th place begins. Even though, in my heart of hearts 5th, 6th and 7th place make no difference to me.

I just happen to enjoy gloating alongside my fellow Rox fans especially with the wins we've been racking up of late. You should definitely post here regularly. You forgot that Memphis was on the 2nd night of a back-to-back and were missing Mike Miller and Lorenzen Wright. Which are both valid excuses actually. Considering all the injuries the Rockets have had over the years, and how other fans don't cut us slack for it, I'm not going to cut other teams slack for missing players. Sorry, not a valid excuse in my book if people aren't going to let us use it. As for the 2nd night of a back-to-back, the Rockets play well in the backend of back-to-backs and Memphis is deeper then we are arguably, so I don't buy that as an excuse either.
I don't think they miss much by not playing those two players. Bonzi is a better starter, and Wright isn't anyone they can not replace either. the fact is they have a bunch of third-tier talents and they are all about at same level. So missing a couple doesn't mean much. Of course, they will use that as excuses. AND, they will conveniently forget to mention TD's missing three games against them.
besides, we had ton of injury problems at the begining of the season, and we lost to Grizz by one point only.
Bah, if every fan was classy like Memphis is in this thread then sports rivalries would be boring and you know it.
Why the hell is it still the Utah Jazz? I think that the Grizzlies fear that they will lose some fan support or recognition if they change their name since people know of the name "Grizzlies".
Man that was a good win. Gotta love a nice winning streak! Nothing like snapping another team's winning streak, and making them drop in the standings (when they are above you). Great game, and great winning streak. The Rox have beaten some good teams.
