A lot of fans sense that he's fake, then that 'most hated' articel comes out and says that the other pros call him FIGJAM for 'F*** I'm Good, Just Ask Me'.

Actually, Tiger has never come from behind in the final round of a major. Every major he's won, he's led after the first three rounds.

He's a phoney. And not in that "Man, that Michael Jordan is so phoney!" kinda way.

I think that of pretty much all golfers, though.

So how bad do you have to be for *other golfers* to think of you as a fake?

Personally, I couldn't care less about individual golfers & their personalities, I just like the game...this just seems to be the main beef w/ Phil among journalists, fans & his peers.

You and RM95 need to make a trip up to Bastrop sometime...

Eh, they're all just a bunch of rich Republicans. I couldn't care less about upper-upper class gossip. :D

    Soon. Very, very soon.

I wouldn't say it's a beef among journalists and fans. Fans, with the exception of a few here, tend to love him... look at the reaction he gets on the galleries. As for the *other golfers* complaints, it's logical. With the exception of Tiger, he's clearly better than the rest of them... it's called jealousy. Can't beat his winning percentage on the course, so might as well divert attention from that and make personal attacks.

Also, on the subject of the Masters, check out Skip Bayless, wow... just wow. Apparently every major championship in which Tiger isn't within one or two shots at the end deserves an asterisk. I don't even know how to debate this... it's the silliest thing I've ever read.

That Bayless article is crap. Do we put an asterisk next to every PGA win by somebody other than Tiger, when Tiger fails to be in the top 2?

Whether you like him or hate him, Mickleson went out and shot excellent golf to win the Masters. The fact that Tiger wasn't playing his best doesn't matter.

If I were a professional golfer, especially one as good as Phil, articles like this would piss me off.

Whatever...Tiger didn't win and had to put the jacket on Phil. It wasn't the other way around.
