it wasnt the WORST trades in history.

lue, jho, gaines, and tmac for cat, stevie, and cato wasnt BAD. it wasnt GREAT, but it wasnt like we completely robbed them. tmac wanted to go to houston, we gave them 3 of our starters and set us back a little bit.

want to know the difference? CD took lue and traded it for a quality vet in barry, he took reece gaines and a second rounder and got mike james which in return got us rafer alston. not bad moves.

what did weisbrod do? trade cat for christie... which was essentially a strong starter in cat for some injured has been that never had any offense to begin with. cato...well, haha sorry about that one. stevie? you took away his best friend, treated him like dirt...he is an emotional guy you know? not do dog him or anything, but you gotta coach each person differently. they messed up with stevie. the end. it isnt our trade what made things look so good, it was what they did and what we did after the trade. lets give CD some credit...and hopefully he can do something today before 2pm :D

What exactly UNDESERVED praise did I advocate for him? That I said he loves the city and team? That I said he welcomed Yao with open arms? Comparing to TMac, Steve has lots of weakness in his game, that's why we traded him. We didn't trade him because he's a bad person, or some worthless garbage. My problem is all that negative and rather mean bashing towards him. That's unappreciative. Wesley is a warrior, and gives his 110% every minute he's on the court. His knee surgery caused his bad shooting in the beginning of the season. But he's been working hard, and playing very well recently. Still, every trade suggestion from genious posters here would include him, because he's tradable. That's unappreciative. If one organization can't appreciate hard working people, if one organization has to bad mouth former employees, that organization won't be able to attract new talents. Thank God Rockets were not run by those kind of people.

Those who hype you unrealistically when you are on the top, are those ones who will stomp on you when you are down.

When did this happen? Is he talking about the time with the forearm into Amares chest/neck? that wasn't a deck.. hell he wasn't even ejected or suspended. (would have been funny though)

this proves again that this "reporter" is an idiot.

exactly, it wasn't a bad trade, it was the events afterwards. this team wasn't much better immediately following the trade. the magic were not much different. then the rockets got barry and wesley and it did wonders for team chemistry.

It's what Orlando did after the trade that made this so lopsided.

However, I wouldn't quiet give up on Darko yet, I am telling you guys, that guy has talent and he's still very young and with time and patience and if someone helps tutor him, he will be nothing less than an Okur in this league.

Mobley for Christie was worse than the Mcgrady trade. Cat has been awesome the past two years. If they didn't didn't move Cuttino, they'd probably be a playoff team right now, with a happy productive Steve and a quality SG.
