good job to head today on tracy's off night and 1 reb night from yao, but he needs to do this more consistently off the bench to prove me that he is a good player. All he did today was show me that he is capable of doing lots of damage in the NBA for one game

It's Head's success that so many people attention to him...

But I still believe Head is a role player only, he can take over a game but a season.

Read the red comments. You have absolute no point. If you come to a messgae board with this little knowledge and dish out this much Bull, be ready to be schooled

Yes, Luther was the man against the Spurs. 21pts, 5 boards, 4 assists, 2 steals, and ... 0 turnovers. Yeah that it's sad that that last stat is the amazing one - especially since he played 41 mins.

Sure he choked in the playoffs before, but he came up big tonight - and the Rox need every game they can get in this division.

I say give the man his props - he earned them tonight.

We'll see how he does the next few games, because he's the starter until Tracy comes back.

I just don't like Head's game. But its not fair to say he doesn't step up in the playoffs. He doesn't step up against the Jazz.

What I find stupid is the hatred for a guy who was a late first round pick and doesnt make much money by NBA standards. Its not like he was a lotto pick that completely flamed out and ate up a ton of cap space like Darius Miles. He is Luther Head, but idiot fans here act like he is Sam Bowie.

As for his long history of playoff failures, it is two seasons early in his career. Yes he was terrible, but it is two series against the Jazz and people act like he single handedly wrecked this team for a decade.

Ive said it before, I think Head shot 1-14 against the Jazz last year. Does anyone think that if he made all 14 of those shots that we would have beat them? I doubt it. So call him a choker, but its not like he was the reason we lost.

The numbers show that Luther has played better against the Spurs than the Jazz in regular season matchups. So maybe he'd actually play decent in the playoffs if we faced San Antonio. He's average 9.5 ppg, in 27.5 minutes, shooting .58 TS%. Against the Jazz, it's 4.6 ppg in 20.4 minutes, shooting .40 TS%.

Luther fits better than Tmac with Artest and Yao.....we need guys who cut and can shoot the 3ball.....

Artest and Tmac do not mesh.

For a minute I thought you were talking about Mr. "It's on me" Mcgrady.
But I do agree, a basket of poo eggs would be a great christmas gift for Tracy. Maybe he could shove them in his shorts and call them a pair of balls.

Wow, I dont think luther head is that great of a player but hey, he hasnt played in a long time and he comes off the bench to replace t-mac as a starter, and he puts up 21 pts on a very efficient fg%. Give him some credit.

I'd be more disappointed by the two biggest playoff chockers in Yao and TMAC than 10 minutes Head.

    Board is full of haters.

Guy hasn't played all year, comes in and scores 21 pts in his first significant minutes and a bunch of no class rookies want to flame him.

I wish we had more Contributing Members and Less Rookies.

Adelman's been coaching for like 20 years. The 2002 Kings should have made it all the way if it werent for company men

Head played very well in this game. If he keeps this up and during the playoff,
    he should stay.
