Nothing, the guy avareged close to 9-10 rpg most of the time he was there. The last two years with the Lakers he has maintained around 10 a game with Bynum and Gasol both in the lineup, whats wrong with that? Once Lee continues to rebound at the same level with more big men around him then we can see but as of RIGHT NOW he isn't a better rebounder then Pau.

There are alot of scenerios in which i would resign scola. I just think the mix has to be different. I think scola would be better and fit better with a mobile big guy like lopez or bosh. Now the cost is alway the ultimate gauge in the end. Contrary to what you think my thoughts on regarding luis, i think he is a good player. I think he takes advantage of every ounce of basketball talent he has and anyone can respect that.

On trading Yao for Bosh if offered, I'd give Yao a big warm hug and cry tears of appreciation for his his years of good service as the trade papers are getting faxed to the league office.

In Toronto's case I dont think they're actually hurting much in attendance and franchise value. They were in the top 10 in both last I checked. Any team would take a $20 mil player who makes them an additional $40 mil, but they're not a "desperate" team in need of a marketing tactic. No incentive for Les to deal Yao, no incentive for Toronto to want him.

Some people here seem to see Bosh as a bball god. I bet they haven't followed the raptors' games closely. Same as Tmac, Bosh never passed the 1st round. With all the talents surround him, the raptors are still a marginal playoff team in the east conference. The raptors wouldn't feel too bad if Bosh leaves this summer. Anyway, they need to consider another direction.

I don't think he is a good franchise player. If you want him, you have to have another better franchise player as well.

You watch alot of games sure (tho I do watch a lot in my own right), but I doubt you are intelligent enough to comprehend them. Or maybe you are a very old man with memory loss issues who has forgotten who Yao Ming is.

THIS GUY WAS THE BEST CENTER IN THE LEAGUE BEFORE HE WENT DOWN. You are talking about a solid PF (with zero proof that he is capable of being the man on a good team) versus the best center (he would completely own Dwight head to head, was one of the most skilled low-post players, both defensively and offensively. His size would alter alot of shots and he was the guy who can hit clutch freethrows and the guy who you wanted the ball in the hands of in end of games).

How many great defensive teams has Bosh been the anchor for (compare that to Yao)? Which of those two players alter (not block, alter) the most shots? How many winning teams has Bosh been the leader for (how many that have won a postseason series?)? Who has the better low post game (wider array of moves)? When the game is on the line, which one would you trust the ball in the hands of? Who can hit those crucial clutch freethrows?

All the answers are Yao. And this is the reason he is the better basketball player.

There is no debate. He is head and shoulders above, clearly the better player.

If you don't think that then you must be r****ded. Wow. Seriously? I can't believe I had to spell that out to you. And you are supposed to be somebody who follows the Rockets?

Why don't you go to a Craptors fan board instead of trolling here?

You have zero idea what you are talking about.

No not a bball god, some people see him as what he is: a signifigant upgrade that can be had for cheap relative to other players of his caliber.

I watch Raptor games often. Bosh has zero to do with Tmac, its not a valid comparison or argument in any way shape or form. The Raptors are a marginal team because their coaching and management is terrible. They got zero defenders and gave bad contracts to marginal players (Hedo, Calderon).

The Raptors would be devestated if Bosh left. It would be failure #3 in thier history of building a decent team around thier franchise players.

I'll never understand the irrational hatred for Bosh.

Being a fan does not mean blindly believing all your own players are better than any other teams.

The more I think about it, the Yao/Bosh combo could be the best interior defense in the league.

Its the offensive side I am worried about. Not that many basketballs to go around. And having two great post scorers, not an easy task for any coach to manage.

Trading Yao for Bosh I think would be a mistake, because I am expecting Yao to come back strong. He is not a player who relies on his quickness or athleticism so it should be easy for him to recover from this injury.

But the more I think about it, the more I feel Bosh to Houston is a longshot. First he would have to agree to come to a team which is not built around him. Second, Toronto would have to agree to trade for a package and I don't think they want our **** contracts like Jefferies/Ariza.

How is it blind? Anybody with a brain knows who the better player is between the two.

Answer those questions I gave. Yao is a proven winner, he is a player who has a wide array of low post moves, somebody who is capable of anchoring a great defense and the guy who can hit those clutch freethrows.

Yao was a 20/10 guy himself before he went down.

You swap Bosh with Yao and the teams both accomplish the same things. Stop trying to equate team success with how good a single player is.

See I do not believe that for the Rockets case. I am not convinced that Bosh is able to anchor a defense like Yao can. I think he can be a great help defender, but not the anchor.

Yao is a better post defender, Bosh is a better PnR defender. Both are terrific scorers, both get to the line. Put your bias aside.

Please give me a quote where Morey says Yao is better than Bosh. It doesnt exist. You are making assumptions.

Bosh is not a pure post up player. What makes him better than Amar'e is Amar'e is only a face up PF....Bosh is also, he can shoot the mid range and even slash to the basket like Amar'e can. Bosh isn't like Yao, Yao has to be posted up and you let him go to work.

Bosh can score in a number of ways, moreso than Yao did (not saying he's better than Yao, just saying he has a lot of ways to score as a 4)

So I think a duo of Yao and Bosh could work...but you never will know if you never will try.

Finally. Somebody finally explains why they think adding Bosh would work. And it actually makes some sense.

That was all I was asking for (I asked it like ten times but nobody was willing to at least debate it).

Yeah I don't know, I still feel like we would have too many scorers adding Bosh with Yao/Martin/Brooks but you are right about Bosh, he can score in a variety of ways. He would just have to be willing to accept a lesser offensive role (as Brooks isn't exactly a true playmaker).

PF is not really a position of weakness. But if they can get Bosh, you are right it probably is worth a shot (that interior defense would be omg good with Yao/Bosh).

As stated before, I think it is a longshot. Bosh would have to agree to come to Houston, then Toronto would have to agree on a deal. And if that deal does involve Scola, Scola would have to agree.

Still don't think Yao should be gone in a Bosh deal. Its funny how one year ago this debate wasn't even a debate, Yao sits out a year (while Bosh remains fairly constant, infact he gets a better supporting cast and the team is not that much better) and all of a sudden people are claiming how Bosh is a better basketball player. Kinda funny but weird how memory loss can affect some people.

I don't have to knock Yao down to prop up bosh. What has yao won btw? Has bosh ever had the player of tracy's caliber? Has he ever had 2 very good coaches the caliber of jvg or adelman? I'm still trying to figure this greatness of yao when he's been neautralized by okur in the playoffs. I like yao, but look how many games he's missed in the last 6 years. Basically 170 games which euals 2 full seasons and now he's 30 coming off a foot surgery. If you were betting your house, if you even have one, who would you bet will have the better season next season and going forward? Of course, you're the same guy who is even think its close. Bosh is 25 and still getting better. He's not only probably the best 4 in the game, he's probably the 5 best player in the entire league regardless of position. Hey what do i know though and even last year people wanted bosh over yao.

Haven't we learned enough lessons this season about the importance of having a defensive presence in the middle? So how is replacing Yao with Bosh a step toward championship for us?

Bosh is a great player but he also said that he wanted to be the centerpiece of his team. Would we really want a me-first player as the cornerstone of Rockets?

Keep Scola and let Jordan Hill develop.
