Eh... a lot of that can be attributed to the lack of spacing in that team's offense - he's not shooting open threes like most on Rox are. Prob a lot of off the dribble contested 3s.
Instead of listing an arbitrary date that fits an agenda, can we just have the standard splits? Season, last ten games, last five games, before/ after ASB.
I'm curious as to why his rebounding has taken such a huge drop, as well as his steals. He's shooting/scoring better but has taken a hit in those areas.
Rebounds: He's playing sounder defense, that's why, instead of gambling on the offensive rebound he gets back quickly. Probably the first back often times as the pg should. PLus we have 2 7 footers out there. And Lin's been leaking out more, creating a bunch of runners and stretching the defense. Steals: He's sticking by his man more than previously. It's still decent, but overall not such a bad thing. He gets his hands on plenty.
His DEFENSIVE rebound decreased significantly. I think it is coach's decision to have Lin run run run. Harden is taking more responsibility in defensive rebounds now.

Dragic's definitely stat padding. Ive seen at least 3 times dragic stayed on court to get a few more ass & pts even in garbage time.

I readily admit that I wasn't a Lin fan at the start of this season. I really like Lowry and Dragic. They played well here and Lin was in my eyes easily 3rd string for a reason. At the beginning of the year Lin looked horrible and I felt like my original assessment of his game was validated. Somewhere over the course of this long season, he won me over. He is a good teammate, kept his mouth closed during his benchings, and he has worked hard to improve his game. When aggressive, he is very exciting to watch and I've been pleasantly surprised with his court vision. I really can't understand why this is even still an issue. Lowry and Dragic are good, but overrated. Neither are All Stars and oddly enough, if anybody believes Lin is a bad player, the stats show that all 3 of these guys are basically in the same tier right now in terms of production. Lin is on a team that is playoff bound, the other two aren't and had their chance here last year and failed. Time to look to the future.
I'd also like to point out that those other two guys have likely peaked. What you see right now is what they are. They made improvements here in Houston and I expect Lin to do the same. As far as first seasons in Houston go. I'd take Lin's over all of them. He is already on their level for the most part with room to grow...hopefully.
The main difference - Dragic and Lowry have likely peaked. Lin is basically in his 2nd year and improving his game.
You know what is crazy is that lin is scoring MORE in LESS time as the season goes on. he takes the same amount of shots, but his FG is better, and his FT's help as well. His rebounding may be explained by someone saying that he plays less closer to the rim to grab rebounds, and his assists...well I'm not sure about that other than Asik has consistently caused Lin to lose at least 2 easy assists.
None of the 3 are bad players, if you think any of them are bad then you dont know basketball. But in the other players defense they have NO team around them. Lin has help and a good team around him so naturally your numbers will be better. All are pretty average players. If Dragic were here he would probably be doing pretty well as he would be surrounded by good players, and lin would probably be doing worse being surrounded by worse players. None are on an all star level and i dont know if any will be any time soon. The whole argument should be scrapped. I think Lowry Dragic should get a little more credit for being able to obtain decent stats while being on an awful team.
I cannot agree with your point. What we all see is the sacriface on stats by Lin due to playing with Harden.
