You can't directly compare their stat lines. Dragic is on a garbage team where he is pretty much the best player. He should be shouldering a much higher scoring load. Meanwhile Lin manages to outscore Dragic despite being on a team that is up to its ears in capable scorers.
They arguably are better than Lin right now though. I believe Lin and Dragic are pretty even, but Lowry right now is the better player. Lin has definitely shown flashes of being a superior player by far, but the question is will he ever reach that ceiling.

They are all trivial PGs. Lowry and Dragic just happen to have the opportunity to pad their stats on **** teams.
Lin shows flashes of Allstar caliber playmaking like his end to end sprint to DMo, his no look to Asik, and his wrap around to chandler. just amazing, awesome plays. you don't see that very often with Dragic. JL is the far better player with the much higher ceiling IMO.
Yeah, but we're living in a golden age of PGs, so that even the top 25 PGs are all top 100 players in the league.
This is what I like about JL, he's done it at all levels he's played at in big games... high school championship, college. If he brings out his best in the biggest games for the Rockets and sustain that run throughout the playoffs and down the stretch, thats where we can all forget and forgive his early season struggles and inconsistency.
The gap is within 4 for the first time. Current PER: Lin 15.05, Lowry 19.02, and Dragic 17.03. <table border="0"> <tr><td colspan="5" align="center" >Point Guards' PER, Season 2012-13</td></tr> <tr bgcolor="#0069B9";font style="color:#ffffff;"><th>Player</th><th>Oct. 31</th> <th>Dec. 31</th> <th>Jan. 31</th> <th>March 1</th> <th>March 16</th> </tr> <tr bgcolor="#ffffff"><td align="right">Kyle Lowry</td><td align="center">25.47</td> <td align="center">21.92</td> <td align="center">21.26</td> <td align="center">19.41</td> <td align="center">19.02</td> </tr> <tr bgcolor="#eeeeee"><td align="right">Goran Dragic</td><td align="center">20.19</td> <td align="center">18.50</td> <td align="center">17.51</td> <td align="center">16.87</td> <td align="center">17.03</td> </tr> <tr bgcolor="#ffffff"><td align="right">Jeremy Lin</td><td align="center">15.07</td> <td align="center">14.69</td> <td align="center">14.34</td> <td align="center">14.68</td> <td align="center">15.05</td> </tr><tr bgcolor="#0069B9";font style="color:#ffffff;"><td align="left">Gap</td><td align="center">10.40</td> <td align="center">7.23</td> <td align="center">6.92</td> <td align="center">4.73</td> <td align="center">3.97</td> </tr></table>
So Linsanity was a fluke after his Miami game. Today vs Miami, Lowry's line: 29 minutes 0-7 FG 0-5 3PT 0-0 FT 4 fouls 4 REB 3 AST 2 TO 0 Points -15 +/- Of course, the difference is this is Lowry's 7th season in the NBA, as opposed to 11th game as a starter for Lin in his own Miami game. On the season, Lowry is at 12 PPG 6 AST 41% FG%, again, in his 7th season. As a Lowry fan, I am pretty happy we have Lin, oh and that Harden guy.
The funniest thing with all this arguing between y'all on this board...Lin knows better about himself than anybody here. At the start of Linsanity, he said so himself that, being Asian, he's going to have to prove himself again and again. I have no doubt he's only to get better and better. (As long as McHale doesn't bench him during the 4th)

Of course the lowry pick turned into Harden so I am not complaining, and Lin is doing well, but you are trying to distort the facts.
that Miami game....damn....blown out by Lin's hater. till yesterday, I still see someone bring it up to criticize Jeremy. Poor kid.
No doubt Lowry played like crap today and his defense was nothing to brag about either, but to be fair a couple shots he took were with a couple of seconds left on the shot clock. That said Lowry has been playing poorly recently. I just don't think he and Rudy Gay are a good fit despite being best buds. With all the Rudy ISOs Lowry has been relegated to Calderon 2.0. That one game where Rudy sat out Lowry was aggressive and getting his teammates involved.
Although I'm higher on Lin because of Lowry's nagging injuries (not that Lin plays safely himself), Lowry is still the better of the 3 when we look at all types of numbers (basic, advance, synergy, etc).
Lowry and Dragic are good players, but overrated by many in my opinion. Neither seem to be leading their teams to victories much thus year and say what you want about supporting casts, but I think if either were as good as some of us may have thought at the end of last year, PHX and Tor would have more wins. Lots of us were predicting possible future all star games for those guys. Looks highly unlikely now. Earlier in the year, i felt Lin was the worst starting PG in the league, but he has improved a lot. I'm over it. Give me the young one with the great attitude with the most upside. At this point I don't see enough difference between the 3 to lose any sleep over it. Lin just needs to be aggressive every game.
