they like Lin more in NY...

plus if the HATERS could back up their statements... we would have a real discussion...

plus most Lin fans posting, are pretty level headed about Lin... most think he is a young player with potential...

    with a great underdog story...

we just dont like the wrong information being bandied around...

where as the haters like to put words in our mouths... like we think he is the greatest basketball player EVER AND EVER AND EVER

and have no problem posting up false information about Lin

Why stop at comparing Lin to Lowery and Dragic? Can we start a new thread about Lin vs Francis, Lin vs Alsten. Heck, how about Lin vs Calvin Murphy?

Here, list of Rockets' all time great pg's. Feel free insert anyone you can remember, just make sure to put Lin at the bottom to keep Lin haters happy

    Murphy > Francis > Cassell > Lowery > Dragic > Brooks > Alston - jumpers > Maloney - 3pt shots = Lin

18 pages and now you say don't post here?

The topic is Lowry, Dragic vs Lin tracking. I thought it would be news that Lowry is hurt and relevant to this topic.

Also, how come no one talks about Lowry playing heroball and only got good last season then got himself traded because he fights with management?

Every Lin thread is bombarded with Lowry and Dragic only fans. I have no problem with this, but you guys sure get sensitive when it doesn't go your way.

You forgot Lillard, Rondo, Chalmers, and every guard that ever had a good game vs Lin. Or any bench scrub that didn't get a chance to play, because you never know.

After awhile I enjoy the creativity by the haters. But some definitely can try harder.

however, I am a big Cassell fan, he was my favorite rockets PG. Rookie Championship, end of story.

Anyways, Lowry was really struggling against OKC early on. I am not surprised he decided not to come back on. Their loss was already a foregone conclusion 5 minutes into the game.

I miss the little bulldog that is Lowry. Good for him playing well in Toronto.

dragic and lowry are nice players, but it's hard to envision them as starters on a contending squad. Can they be starters with a big role on a .500 (phoenix) or sub .500 (toronto) team? Yes. As starters playing a major role on a team contending for a conference or a league championship? Not so much.

Dragic is a career 8 ppg scorer, and his per 36 numbers are good, but not especially promising. Lowry was averaging 13 ppg and 6 apg playing 30+ mpg on .500 ball clubs.

There is very little suggest that either player is ready for a big step up; ie all star productivity, on a team ready to contend for a conference or nba championship. I see them as good players with sub all star numbers on average teams, or as role players on contending teams.

Well, lowry certainly can be a starter on a contending team but if he's the NO.1 option on a team, that team can't be a contender. I'm wondering will Lowry leave or stay in Toronto after 2 years. If he stays, that's his team but they're going nowhere. If he leave, he probably can find a better team and make some noise in playoff.
