    Well if that's the case I wish they would just say it so we can move on and get Ryno in the Toyota Center so we can figure out why he can't shoot at home.

    Yeah Demarre Carroll is NOT better than Ryan Anderson...not even close.

    They can. But is this a good outcome for them?

    At this point, for this team, Melo is a bad contract.

    Which is also a terrible move for them. When will people understand that there's no way the Knicks come out of this smelling like roses? They keep talking about the Knicks getting what they want and they fail to realize the Knicks forfeited their interests in many ways.

    I'm not saying they can come out of here smelling like roses.

    However:
    -Keeping Melo=coming out smelling like dog poop
    -trading Melo for Ryan Anderson=coming out smelling dog poop and not allowed to shower for 2 years

    They can move Ryan Anderson's $20 million contract easier than Melo's $29 million contract. Also, Ryan Anderson is still a solid contributor.

    If they could then we'd be able to put together a deal. So far we haven't been able to build a deal that is "easy" to move Ryan Anderson.

    For the Knicks getting a couple of 2nd rounders and a young player like Hartenstein would still be better than getting 20M in cap space next summer since they won't get a better player than Anderson anyway (assuming he would opt out)...but that's just how i see it.

    This doesn't make sense to me. How can CP3 think that Morey has ALL the power to get Melo to go to Houston? CP3 should be smart enough to know that the 3 of them is not enough to win a ring and they need that solid supporting cast to have a chance.
