lol well we didn't we need to bench ch brown and practice more or something, wtf is with all these penalties, we dont even give ourself a chance to win. i found the end of this game hilarious, as i was telling my mom in the 1st quarter that ill watch it all the way through in case we pull through, what happens? 1 min left we have a chance to tie the game AND A WILLIAMS FUMBLES i actually laughed out loud and just walked out of my apartment to wag a bag
HTF do you line up off sides? Jeffcoat, please sideline yourself. Greg Davis, please retire. Where is DeLoss Dodds? It looks like UT is rebuilding more than reloading.
I think he sucks too, but to his defense...Colt didnt look so hot either his first season starting. I'll give him another year before I label him the next Chris Simms.

LOL Mr. Glynch strikes again.. Please keep posting threads predicting great things happening to Texas athletics.
Colt actually looked GREAT his freshman year and sported a nice 29 TD / 7 INT ratio for the season. His bad year was his sophomore season. Gilbert has issues with touch and with seeing the field. He really loves checking down to the easy receiver who's left wide open because the defense knows he'll throw it there. I think we are spoiled having two of our recent QBs (Colt & Applewhite) instantly be good in their first year - most young QBs go through this. This was a disaster of a game. Two potential critical redzone turnovers - one nullified by penalty, the other just rolls out of bounds. And multiple 3rd down stops only to be nullified by stupid penalties. Offense looked like a disaster as always. And special teams made another critical error just like last week.
I was confident Texas was going to lose this game. I knew the offense would sputter along at best. What I couldn't have seen coming was the defensive unpreparedness and mental mistakes. OU was snapping the ball while the Texas defenders were still shuffling around trying to figure out where they belonged. The hurry-up, scripted plays on those first two drives was a great coaching move on OU's part. The Texas defense gifted them two first downs on third downs on those drives that eventually led to 14. Humiliating loss...because as bad as Texas is/was, they actually were still in the game. Texas is a terrible team right now, but OU doesn't really seem much better to me. Bye bye top 25...
Not that Greg Davis is smart enough to do this, but we were saying during the game that he needs to design plays the rest of the season where there is not an outlet receiver in a lot of cases. They need to force Gilbert to look down the field, keep looking down the field, and trust himself to make plays deeper. But I am 100% confident Greg Davis will not do that. I loved that we opened up with 3 completed passes for a total of 3 yards. I also loved that DJ Monroe, the only playmaker Texas has and the only guy who did anything in the 1st half, never touched the ball in the second half. Apparently, he did too much north-sound yardage-gaining running in the first half, which probably didn't fit Greg Davis' preferred east-west offensive philosophy.
On the road against a pissed off top 10 Nebraska team...UT is about to lose 3 in a row. Where's James Brown?
ut needs to run the table and a bunch of losses from other teams. but national championship game again this year.
