Or, you could be like me, have no pressure, no shopping, no planning the perfect night, just missing an overrated slam dunk contest, a boring 3-pt shooting contest, go to a nice dinner, then get as much as I want when we get home. Damn, RM95's Girl is awesome!!!!!!!
man, my girlfriend broke up with me last sunday night and this past week has been probably the worst week of my life because of it. doesn't help that it's valentines day today. i hate f**king february.
I hear you! No chic calling you every half hour saying "what's going on?" Uh...nothing has happened since the last time you called 30 minutes ago, what do you want me to say? Plus, tonight would be the perfect night to go out and do some "hunting". All the 'spoken for' women will be out with their boyfriends or husbands and all the truly single women will be looking to hook up. Too bad all my buddies are unavailable. They're taking their wives/girlfriends out.
Well, that is great RM95. I am happy for you, but I have a question. Isn't this iteration of "RM95's Girl" like the third one or fourth one? How have you been able to shrug off previous breakups with "RM95's Girls" and find one that is willing to do all of this? It seems like when I break up with a girl or vice versa, it takes months (sometimes years, lol) to find another one!
This is the second one I've referred to as RM95's Girl on here. The first one and I broke up last May and I met this one right before some poster tried to embarass me on here. This one will be my last. I've already decided to pop the question, when and where I'm doing it. She's the greatest girl I've ever met, my best friend, and I've never been happier. You should really try Match.com. It's worked fairly well for many people I know. If not only for significant others, it's also a great place to meet new friends. In fact, RM95's Girl's late best friend was someone she met there. I've met my future wife and, if all goes well, it looks like my sister may have met her future husband there as well. The only downside is that someone may see your profile on there and attempt to embarass you on a Rockets' website.
I'm going to the Texas State Basketball games (women's and men's) then come back and catch some the all-star festivities. Maybe I can hook up at the basketball game. Between the cheerleaders, drill team, and occasional hot female basketball player, there should be some opportunities. How does this sound: "Hey, great game. You know my roommate went back to Lake Jackson for the weekend."
Sorry about all that. You know, Valentine's Day blows anyway... whether you're single or taken. It's some kind of catch-22.
I have fooled around with online dating stuff before and only got like one date out of it (nothing came out of it). The problem is that I live like an hour away from Nashville and that most of the women on that site are in Nashville. I feel that I don't have time to drive all the way to Nashville to meet someone who may or may not work out for me. I need someone who is closer. However, it isn't that big of an issue for me now - I am enjoying not going out every weekend and blowing my money on a girl. Today all I have done is take my mom out to breakfast and sleep! Right now, I am getting ready to eat some supper while listening to Bach. BTW - I guess you know that Dave Matthews is expected to be at Bonneroo this year. I figured you will probably want to come; if you are coming, email me through the board as I *might* be able to let you stay at my place for that weekend - just depends on what is going on at work at that time.
manny.. not to change the subject too much but what is bonneroo.. i've seen that name a few times today but been so busy didn't get a chance to look what it was.. something near nashville?
It is a big music festival that is held in my hometown of Manchester every summer. The people who started it envisioned it as the "new Woodstock" and this will be the third year that they are having it. The bands and artists that perform are mainly "jam" bands or "college" bands like Widespread Panic and Phish. Besides Dave Matthews, they also are supposed to have Wilco, Willie Nelson, and Bob Dylan!! I wouldn't mind going but I hate huge crowds, so I don't know if I will go or not.
manny.. sounds fun.. i just checked the dates on it.. in the summer so I won't be in tennessee.. I'll continue searching for a great event in this city that is before the end of april..
