Lob to Capela hasn't worked since game 2 of the Jazz series. Some are being deflected and/or stolen, some are bad passes and a good number of them Mr. Capela just can't hold onto cause either he's not expecting it or is just Butterfingers. Regardless it has to stop. Lob = Turnovers!
we could of had at least 1 win if we havent tried so many lobs unsuccessfully just chucking a random midrange shot instead
You're probably right. Chucking random shots still has a chance of going in instead of chucking a turnover and not even attempting a shot!
Then there’s no reason for CC to see the floor. He doesn’t rebound, can’t create his own shot, and just isn’t getting it done on the defensive end. At a minimum, he gives the threat of the lob while on the court. That helps with spacing when they commit to stopping it - we just need to knock down shots
Clint has bad hands . The line do need to stop but a lot of passes are deflecting off of Clint’s hands and it’s becoming increasingly frustrated. GSW has that move scouted
Harden’s blurred vision might have affected his passing in game 2. The lob threat is still vitally important. We need to be better at reading the defense and reacting to where there defenders are. That’s mostly on Harden. He is starting his attack so late in the shot clock that he often needs to take a contested shot or force the lob. You have to credit the Warriors individual defense on him as well as their team defense. They are really good.
I don't think the blurred vision has anything to do with it as the lob has been horrific after Jazz game 2. As far as the Warriors playing good D, that maybe true and Harden does need to read the D better. However, it's not always late in the shot clock, I've seen is try to force it early in the shot clock as well. I'd much rather Harden take a contested shot and have a small percentage of it going in vs turning the ball over via steal or Capela not holding onto it.
