Walter Cronkite turns 88 this Thursday, and he retired from CBS 24 years ago. His current actions don't have any reflection on CBS. Also, despite Rather's gaffe this year, CBS is still a better source of information than any of the cable news networks. To single them out as being worse than any of the other major network is not accurate.
If the title is really causing that much trouble, just forget it. I was merely pointing out that any time anything happens that happens to give Bush the edge, the vast majority of democrats automatically say it was set up by Rove. I'm not trying to start a war about thread titles or anything. If this thread was titled George Bush is a stupid cokehead, I expect we'd have a few less complaints about the title.
I would complain about any thread title that is meant to be offensive. You're acting as if conservatively minded people are a persecuted group. They control Congress, the Presidency, and the Supreme Court. They certainly aren't the underdogs these days. Making a thread title isn't difficult. Just describe what you are presenting. Why do feel you can't get your point across without being offensive?

How is the title to this thread "offensive"? If you say it is then i feel the need to disclose that I'm offended by the words Kerry, poll, and vote. So i guess i could complain that any title containing these words is offensive. Much of the American left refuses to believe that there is ANOTHER side to the argument. You are free to feel the way you do about BUSH but you must realize there are those of us who don't. This thread title is rather accurate as almost everything that has come out that helps Bush has been labeled as an act masterminded by Karl Rove.
Yeah, we definately don't agree that the lefty answer for everything is "Karl Rove did it." This is hilarious, you are arguing that we don't believe in other sides to the argument because we aren't just rolling over and saying "yeah, ha, we always blame Rove."
No, it's stupid because it makes no sense. First off, you misspelled "Lefty" second off, I don't know what this "answer for everything" you describe actually is, be it Walter Cronkite, Osama Bin Laden, Karl Rove, or some combination thereof, and I don't believe I've ever seen many people use it as the answer for "everything", or anything for that matter. Other than that it's a shining example of 21st century witticism at its apex.
That's not what I'm saying, what I'm saying is that you guys fail to realize that there ARE some people who do.
