I will not relent or spare any quarter...he, and his girlfriends are hated here.

But as I was sharing with an old friend, the NBA is passing us by.

So who gives a flying **** anymore.

I'd like to add to these reasons.

ESPN had a lot to do with it. Just like Brett Favre, they don't care if it's negative as long as they keep someone in headlines. I love Favre, but ESPN put too much blame on him in his last season. Lebron leaving made him an easier target, and it also allowed them to prop up Kobe and Durant. After the decision, some people (mainly the media) said Lebron was barely still a top 5 player. Throughout 2009, Kenny Smith and most people on NBA TV kept saying Kobe was better, yet glossed over the fact that the Lakers didn't solely rely on Kobe. Fans knew the Heat would struggle with chemistry and wouldn't win 70 games. I thought the Lakers had the best chance of winning 70, I thought they had a better roster and complimented each other more. They may have came close if not for injuries. I rooted against Miami in the 2011 finals because I'm a Dirk fan, I felt Dallas got cheated in 2006, and I got tired of the media (people like Bob Ryan, Jemele Hill, Doug Stewart) always killing Dirk and the Mavericks.

Lebron's comments may be another reason. I prefer people speaking their mind. It's old seeing coaches & athletes say the same things, there's few athletes that I'm eager to hear talk. I just don't like how Lebron backed off of his comments because I often agreed with him.

My only issue with his decision was not being up front with Dan Gilbert. I think he owed that much so the franchise could move forward. I had no issue with the television special or his celebration. I laugh whenever he gets mocked about winning multiple titles. As already mentioned, the money went to a good cause.

Some feel he was protected by the media. While I don't agree, I understand why some feel this way. Back to what I said about Dirk, he'd have great games, defenses would focus on him, his team wouldn't step up, yet everything was his fault. Lebron's team and front office got a fair share of blame in Cleveland. Dirk plays through more contact that most stars, yet Doug Stewart would always say he doesn't deserve free throws. Guys like Kobe, Ginobili, Lebron and Wade would get all kinds of calls on the perimeter and players usually can't be as physical with them. People downplay how good his opponents were. The Spurs were a 7th seed that won 50 games despite injuries. GS beating Dallas didn't surprise me because of Don Nelson. They ran into the Nuggets, that might have been a series if not for that missed intentional foul. I don't agree with everything Skip Bayless says about Lebron, I appreciate that he stood his ground on Lebron while the rest of the media, analysts, and some fans piled on to bandwagon. Skip picked against Lebron in 2009 & 2010, his point was that he thought Lebron would crumble under pressure.

I don't discredit Lebron for having no rings. Last year was the first time he had the star power other stars have had. He & Wade are too similar, at least other stars complimented each others styles. I rank some players with less rings or no rings higher than players with multiple rings.

I always liked Lebron and I wish he wasn't so passive during the end of games. He came up big before late in games, most weren't game winners.

I have never really been a fan of LeBron's. Going back to his Cleveland days, it was unreal to see just how passive he is when it matters the most. Being the most skilled guy in the leauge he should be the guy at the end hitting the big shot for his team, but he is not that guy.

Then he came to Miami and all of a sudden along with Wade became the two biggest babies in the leauge. They expect other teams to just roll over for them because they along with Bosh came together to win multiple championships. The second things get too tough for the Heat they leay down. They did it aginst Dallas, and they will do it against San Antonio.

The wost of it has to be how they react to getting fouled. Heaven forbid guys don't just give them clear paths to the rim. Add to that LeBron now has this thing with throwing elbows. LeBron with Wade are just the absolute worst kind of ballers in the game right now. They want everyone to bend over for them and want to win without having to exert any extra effort.

Another thing that kills me with LeBron is his drive. He seems like he would rather have fun, smile and just go through the motions instead of putting in that extra like MJ or Kobe. Again I think this has to do with this attitude he has of everything being handed to him.

Another thing I forgot to mention is the free throws. It has become comical how bad it has gotten. We'll be wathcing the game and if its close and the 4th quarter they just don't fall.

To me it adds to his sense of entitlement and this notion I have that he dosen't want to put the extra effort or try harder when adversity appears.

    No one likes arrogant people.

Also, though he can get the job done, his moves are crab ugly.

What Firebomb said. Don't hate him but don't really care for him, and I don't find him that fun to watch.

Plus, I look at him and for some reason I see a bit of a coward deep down. He doesn't have that drive and passion that Kobe and MJ have that made me respect them.

I wouldn't hate him if he were actually humble

Do you think any of superstars are humble? They might put on that show, but even TD whines after every call. You don't get to be the best without thinking you are the best.

    I dislike superstars being humble,

but I hate superstars pretending that they are humble.

I've never seen Duncan or Durant saying that people will still have their personal problems despite they failed.

Honestly, I love Lebron but most people just hate him because he is an easy target to hate.

    Alot of people hate Kobe
    Alot of people hate MJ

BUT MICHAEL JORDAN IS/WAS MUCH MORE ARROGANT THAN LEBRON. In my opinion, you cannot hate Lebron and hate MJ. They are both changing the game and they are completely full of themselves.
