The League Mandate Against Yao: A Logical Explanation Needed

    Your right RV, it doesn't make sense for Stern not to want the obvious matchup Rox vs. Heat, but why the outlandish fine on JVG? Objviously, I'm bias but it sure seems like he is trying to cover something up rather than look into the situation. I don't know why he wouldn't want the Rox/Heat matchup, but I thing something is fishy going way back to 1995. I think after the dismal ratings from the '94 Rox/Knicks finals the leage did just about anything they could to sabatoge the Rox in 1995 (remember when Drexler was ejected during the playoffs). The phantom foul on Wesley and Finley out of bounds play were at a crucial time in the game and never should have been missed. The league should have never allowed those refs to ref another playoff game this season. I don't know if Stern is on Cuban's payroll or what, but something is definately worth investigating, not fining the messenger.
