I don't understand why you would post something like that. I didn't bet against the Rockets in game 7. I even mentioned how disrespectful it was that they were underdogs in that contest here: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=9775083&postcount=3994 I guess it's your passive-aggressive way of taking a cheap shot at something non-existent. Hope it makes you feel better about yourself, B-Bob, smh.
Great "analysis" by you here on why the Clips are a bad matchup for the Rockets: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=9763314&postcount=3 Lol, look at this garbage analysis. How can you show your head around here much less try to call out others based on this steaming pile of trash you provided us? Lol, smh, talk about embarassing yourself.
Good to know that the non-believers can't erase their doubt from the official record after we win it all.
Of course. Everyone was right and McHale and the Rockets echoed it. I'm currently re-watching game 7 for 3rd time and completely am off-put by this BS of the Clippers being tired, but that's a different story. Anyhow, it was damn near unanimous that the Rockets were performing badly for the most part in the first 4 games. Whether that was due to Clippers talent, lack of effort, lack of fockass, bad shooting, bad coaching...it was a combination of all things. And since then, they've played much better. I've always been of the thought that this is a coin flip series when both teams are firing on all cylinders, and after watching this game 7 1st half 3 times, being tired is not a valid excuse. There was only 1 possession where it was obvious and that was when the Rockets took the lead to 15 in the 2nd quarter and Doc called a timeout. But both teams were playing sloppy early (not tired) and the Rockets were just making tough shots and good shots. The Clippers were missing 3's in the 1st quarter (half being good looks) but then made a bunch in the 2nd quarter (open shots and covered shots too). Did they get less tired in the 2nd quarter? The better answer is that it's a make or miss league. The significant differences in their play came from fast break points and hustle points from Prig. I went off on a tangent. Anyhow, I just grunching this thread anyways. Let's just all be happy and hopeful for the Rockets to fockass and fight. There was no reason to think they'd play better after Game 4 because 1) The Rockets were playing inconsistent and unfocused hoops for the whole playoffs to that points and 2) That's Monte Carlo fallacy. I hoped it would change, but I damn sure didn't expect it to change, but thank the basketball gods that it did. And it wasn't that they became talented all of a sudden. They played much better, for a multitude of reasons. Now there's legit evidence that they can maintain that fockass. Hopefully they keep it up this next series and we'll just enjoy the ride. Go Rockets.
Thanks for reminding me of my astute observations overall and particularly my prescient note regarding Brewer and Smith, both MIA at the time being the X-factors, after which they subsequently beast moded you back into your motel room and the Clips to an unexpected early vacation. Boy do I feel foolish for going full Nostradamus.
Serious much? It was damned funny but too many bad words, and who said it was about you? For the record, I'm just here to have fun. Period. You should actually try it! Good lord but you ran with that.
There is not one single 3 & D guy on the clips, Nostradamus. I even pointed out in that thread but as usual you conveniently failed to respond, because, well, there's nothing you could say. Maybe if you put down the bottle of alcohol you could've seen that. I hope I was able to refresh your memory with my earlier post in this thread by the way.
I didn't think it was funny or appropriate. It seems like you felt the same way about it being inappropriate which is why you deleted it.
lol This team is very talented even with injuries to Beverly and Dmo. They just lack the focus and heart to play bball at times. It's so frustrating to watch and at times hard to cheer for. I really really really hope they play with more heart and fockass in the GS series. It was tough to see a Rockets team get dismantled in the regular season by the Warriors. I don't ever want to see a Rockets team play the way they did in the first 4 games of the clippers series.
In what crazy town dry universe are JJ Redick and Matt Barnes not 3 & D guys? Looks like I picked the wrong day to stop sniffing glue.
That was heartbreaking. Guys it ain't over yet. Very close. Their so called fortress home court doesnot look as good as people make it out to be. (without the terrible officiating. we'd be coming home 1:1) We got this. Protect our home court and steal one from'em. Simple math. It's a race to 4 whoever gets there first advances. Gotta have faith in this team.
That is exactly why you should believe. The Warriors were expected to protect HC and our boys gave them hell. We'll see you in H-Town, Wardell
