That's such backwards ass logic, that's like saying were the warriors ever really that good as the short handed Cavs won 2 games in their first trip, and full strength Cavs won 4 games second trip to the finals.

So Lebron's record against the warriors in the finals is 6-7 despite him winning two with the shorthanded Cavs, therefore the Warriors aren't even that good.

Come on, dude, credit where credit is due. Lebron's a beast. When Lebron sits and it's just K love and Kyrie they can barely win a game, I'm pretty sure they have a sub.500 record when Lebron sits.

Aha, quite obviously a hater if you think the spurs or the 73 win warriors aren't legendary teams. If the warriors won the chip that year they'd be deemed the greatest team of all time. Mate, don't let your hate blind you.

Lebron is the best of his two generations and if you consider MJ the goat LBJ should be top 2, period.

MJ played at a really weak time, what super teams did he face except for Bad boy Pistons who made him cry for 9 years straight? None of his rivals had decent teams around them, Wilkins, Hakeem and Clyde were rolling with crap teams while MJ had his own big 3 consisting of the 2nd best wing player in the NBA and the best PF in the league in Rodman. And since MJ only made 7M for most of his career the Bulls were able to get quality role players on top of their big 3, they had decent big men and then super subs Kukoc and Kerr. If you hear old men talk though it's like MJ went 1-on-5 on the court on his way to his rings.

Its ok if you don't think LBJ is great, you jave been drinking space jam and Laker kool aid so long it has affected your brains. But the people nowadays don't have insane bias for the 80' and 90's, when LBJ retires he's gonna be the goat the same way people moved on to MJ from Russell and Chamberlain.

In what world are Pippen(have you seen his playoff #'s in the 2nd 3 peat? If he was a Lebron teammate, he'd be considered a has been bum), 34,35,36-year-old Rodman that missed 20-30 games a season(5ppg on 40%, 59%FT, 11rpg in the 3 playoff runs. If he were a LeBron teammate, he'd be considered a washed up has been bum), Toni Kukoc(11ppg on 43%, 32% from 3 those 3 runs, would be considered an absolute bum if were LeBron's teammate), and guys like Luc Longley, Steve Kerr, Judd Buchler, Bill Wennington, Dickey Simpkins etc anywhere near the talent that LeBron has had the past 7 years? Still, he finds ways to complain about needing more help. LeBron fans like Kobe fans have built up MJ's teammates greatness and torn down LeBron's teammates so much that in 20 years people will think Kyrie Irving was no better than BJ Armstrong, Kevin Love was no better than Horace Grant, Ray Allen was no better than Steve Kerr, Shane Battier was no better than Randy Brown, Chris Bosh was no better than Toni Kukoc and Dwyane Wade at that point was no better than Ron Harper.

How were the 90s "weak" compared to today? Nearly every team had its own Superstar, or All-Star or young future HOFer surrounded by vets through the decade. Every team had it's veteran role players and role specialists. With the exception of the Raptors and Grizz, the other expansion teams built contenders with future HOF players pretty damn quickly. Even the lowly expansion Raptors built around Mighty Mouse with vets could beat today's bottom half of the league filled with 19-year-old kids, euro players and D-League players in every roster spot. Nearly half the league gives up after December, and nearly 10 teams give up before the season even starts and go full tank mode right off the bat. It's all about playing the young kids with potential in hopes that they will turn out to be decent while ensuring you tank for a top pick that you eventually blow anyway b/c the physical talent pool is great, but the IQ and NBA readiness is garbage in 1 and done college players that don't even end up being a contributor for their team til near the end of their contract where they end up leaving or being traded for value in return before they leave for nothing. Rinse and repeat.

Seriously? Weak..pfft. Every single veteran player plays on the top teams now thanks to buyouts. Today's NBA is garbage in comparison. Feels like almost half the NBA is a former D-League no name player. How is today any fun at all? 30 teams. Who the hell wants to watch 25 of those teams play a game? I may be the biggest Harden hater of all the past few seasons, but this Rockets team is fun. That's how you do it. This Rockets team would fit right into the 90s. A star leading his team surrounded by good vet role players. Not this garbage of 3 stars and 3 former all stars and 3 former #1 picks and 3 more buy out vets that are still good enough to start on half the teams in the league all on 1 team. The Warriors, the Cavs, The Spurs, and the Clippers(when healthy) would be the only sure enough contenders in the 90s. The Rockets, Raptors, and Celtics would be fighting for a playoff spot. The rest of the league today would be lottery teams in the 90s.

Chicago. Utah. Seattle. Orlando. Houston. San Antonio. Indiana. New York. Phoenix. Early 90s Portland. Any one of those teams would be a top 5 team today.

Charlotte. Miami. Atlanta. Any one of those would be top 10 teams today.

Anyway, LeBron as an individual is definitely top 5. Advanced stats say he's #2 right behind MJ in nearly every category, but that still doesn't stop me from seeing that he's had the easiest road to the Finals out of any top 20 maybe even top 30 players other than Magic. He will probably finish a close 2nd but "totals" and longevity as his main argument against MJ. The real MJ comparison IMO should always be Magic Johnson in terms of talent as teammates and road to the Finals.

And no. I'm not impressed by the Cavs win against the Warriors. Those same Warriors that were down 1-3 in the WCF that blew out Cleveland badly when they were at full strength. It wasn't until Draymond suspension, Bogut injury, and Iggy playing through injury as well that the CAVS were able to turn things around and win on momentum. The CAVS didn't beat the 73 win Warriors. If the Sonics won in 95 with Longley out( as if Longley was a former #1 pick and defensive anchor), Rodman missing the close out game, and Kukoc being hurt, they wouldn't have beat THE 72 win Bulls.

The CAVS did exactly what the Lakers did the times they beat Boston or Detroit, beat a tired team that had to grind through their own conference(ie Warriors needing a miracle of their own to come back and beat OKC) while the Lakers like Cleveland got to coast through their conference against cupcakes.

Any one of the 6 Bulls championship teams would have beat those same banged up Warriors. So would have the 94 or 95 Rockets or the 99 Spurs. The Thunder would have swept those Warriors had they got to play them sans Bogut, Draymond, hurt Iggy or at least closed them out 4-1 had Draymond been suspended that game and Bogut didn't play. I mean they lost by 28, and 24 points the first 2 games in OKC. The Warriors had troubling signs that entire playoff run.

Looks like another * for LeBron this year. Durant probably won't be the same come playoff time and it will nag and bother him the entire playoffs is my prediction. GS ain't winning. Championship #4 coming for LeBron carrying his bum/loser teammates. How does he do it?!?

Hands down one of the worst post in CF history. Not impressed by the Cavs' 1-3 comeback against the best team of all time, in the finals ? lol

Again. Not the best team of all time. Missing 2 starters and having your 6th man banged up and even your star going through ups and downs after his 2nd round injury does not = the same team that won 73 games. How are you impressed? That same team at full strength was beating the CAVS 3-1 and at full strength were DOWN to OKC 1-3 including two massive blowout losses..
