No accountability. None. It's not just Kubiak, it's the owner. Uncle Bob should fire Kubiak this evening, and replace him in the morning, but we know that's not going to happen. Just like the Grocer, another old rich guy, asleep at the wheel.

I'd be happy if I woke up in the morning just to find out Frank Bush has been fired.

This. It's time to show some urgency for a change.

I see a few more have finally given up on Kubiak. (what took you guys? :p ) Unfortunately there's one guy in particular who will probably hold out as long as possible.

He preaches balance, but really that's just coachspeak after the fact for "We shudda ran/thrown the ball more."

Fix it during the game you moron. And that 4th and 1 to start the 4th quarter?? Chip shot 3 for Rackers. Sure, Foster had a good game but the Chargers had stuffed us alot for no gains or losses. Oh, and when seeing the Chargers all stacked up against the run on the play, you still run it??

The passing game has taken a major step back, and I think it's in large part to Kubiak not knowing how to manage a good rushing game. Schaub has had difficulties but alot of it is scheme. He didn't all of a sudden forget how to read a defense.

Arian Foster is making Kubiak look a heck of a lot better than he actually is. Ward and or Slaton aren't making those same guys miss in the backfield or whatever.

I've defended him in the past, but geez, get him out of there.

Regardless if this team wins out, Kubiak continues to make very questionable decisions every single game. This is not going to change. Get him out ASAP.

How do you know? You have a crystal ball? It's pretty much known that Cowher at least wants to get back into coaching...what is a better team to go to?

Carolina is a complete rebuild job, Dallas and he has to deal with Jerry...Houston is just a re-tool job.

Gruden might happen but Cowher would be a long shot. It might just depend on who takes over at GM and who they would have in mind. I would think it would be an established guy since the talent is here just need the leadership.

he's made it known that there are only a few positions he is willing to take. houston isn't one of them.

even if houston was.....at 10 million per, I'd like to see more than 1 super bowl over a 15 year span. cowher has exactly one more ring than kubiak does.

he isnt as good as 95% of fans make him out to be.

At this point I really don't mind either of those guys. If they want to come back into coaching next season, the Texans SHOULD be the most attractive job.

Minny would be the next spot, but then again they will have a QB question with the whole Favre thing.

Dallas you have Jerry Jones who has scared most good coaches away since he likes to take control of the team.

Carolina is a complete rebuild job so likely will attract a new young coach.

Houston you have a QB in place, you have a RB in place (and a 2nd round talent on the bench...) you have some good WRs and LBs...you have some talent on defense that has probably been coached horribly.

If Cowher or Gruden is out there, this has to be most attractive job. It's just a matter of will McNair pay the money to get those guys here? Will McNair fire Kubiak for the mediocre season he's about to have again?

I think Gruden signed a new deal with ESPN though...he does seem comfy in that spot.

    Really?

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/296522-bill-cowher-to-the-chicago-bears

It's all rumors at this point man. But there have been rumors flying about all last year about teams he has been targeting or waiting to open. Houston did not open up last year...maybe this year?

I know the Giants job is one he may like to, but with how they have played I don't see that happening. I haven't seen any where where it was even rumored he wouldn't take the job if it was open here.

Well Kubiak hasn't even made the playoffs ONCE. Seems like a major improvement to me.

Honestly, I gave up on him after the Jets game. No excuse for that performance, none.

cowher aint comin here. forget it.

only way it happens is if mccnair chips off 10-12 mil per. and sorry to break your heart with logic and common sense. one super bowl chip in 15 years aint worth 10-12 mil per.

Lol Okay. You can't back up anything you said man, don't bring that logic and common sense stuff in here. You said Houston he wasn't even considering it and have yet to back that up.

Nothing to back up that McNair won't pay Gruden or Cowher.

Also how are you projecting one superbowl chip in 15 years? Okay

    Kubiak- 49 years
    Cowher- 53
    Gruden- 47

Difference is Cowher and Gruden has taken their teams to the playoffs NUMEROUS years.

BTW, Bill Belichick won his first Championship at 52. What does your crystal ball say? That since Cowher has won one championship in 15 years (and taken his team to the playoffs pretty much every year) that Cowher will only win one more in 15 years or never win one again?

Not really logic bro, or else Belichic would have never won a Superbowl when he came to New England.

Dear Uncle Bob, you're older than dirt and richer than God. If it takes a 3 year 45 million dollar contract to get Cowher to coach the Texans, pay the man. He brings instant credibility to the organization.

PS, your new GM should be an egghead, like Morey. Previous NFL experience isn't an issue, getting a guy with the proper background in statistical analysis is. Do what Les did, find fresh blood, with a fresh perspective.
