There. I said it. Breh is like Terrence Williams mixed with Monta, he have it all, but at the end of the day he’s a fraud.
He's always looking to thread the needle pass while ignoring the best rookie 3 point point shooter in existence.
The biggest difference is the decision making His first step and strength aren't that bad, and when he spots up and takes a normal in rhythm jumper my eye test and memory says he's been solid. The decision-making, on his shot selection, passing, and his body language has been straight-up awful at times. He really does seem like he has all the tools, the big question is his BBIQ, is he just young? Or is he a dummy? We'll see I guess.
He just needs to be a little more decisive and direct when attacking his defender. If you temporarily take away his license to shoot mid range, he will start having to make his decisions at the start of the possession. He’s somewhat struggling so far, but playing with Tate and Sengun will help him. In general playing with guys he’s getting familiar with who are themselves getting familiar with the NBA. These guys have little nba experience and no experience playing together. Surely the PG would find that very difficult to navigate 3 games after a shortened preseason. His defense is what interests be the most. He can be a starter in this league if he plays good defense, but I’m not seeing it so far.
He has a quick first step though imo. The other 3 are def true though lol. Also isn't near the passer Harden is of course.
