Why would anyone think Wall will contribute more to his development? The same Wall that proclaimed himself the franchise after Harden was traded? He would be trying to showcase himself for a trade and would not give a **** about Green's development. And I am not a Wall hater, I think he would be an asset to a contending team. LOL wut? Heard from who?
Kjp is not a starting caliber player. He’s especially not a starter on a team like Houston, which doesn’t have many real shooters. If Tate and Sengun are going to play significant minutes into the future for this team, and I think it’s pretty fair to assume that, we can’t have a guard playing starters minutes who shoots 36% from the field, and 60% FT. He’s got a lot of talent but he’s not a point guard. He is a positionless guard who can’t shoot and is trying to improve his defense. The rest of the baggage that comes with him is not worth it in my opinion, but it’s clear his best chance to get on the court in a way that actually helps the team is in a 6th man or bench role. Even then, I’d rather rely on guys like Nwaba over KPJ
Problem is him growing into his mold for a player. He still pretty raw. He shows signs of being pretty good. But i dont know if he is a true point guard. I think ive mention this. He seems like a guy that maybe should shoot jumpers off the dribble. Let Jalen play SF, and let Segun Start at PF. I think this would all come to pass if there was a new coach. Tate is not really starting material. Who knows what this team will look like in few years. But all i know when Green gets better. I hope they find the right players to put around him, and that Segun can add some Muscle and start playing Center.
that is only this season. Players can have down years shooting the ball, away from thier normal percentages..........just look at Steph Curry's shooting stats this season. KPJ is 7 percent worse this season in a different role with less shot attempts. His FT's are baffling as he was a 72 percent ft his first 2 seasons
He is super streaky, a trait more appropriate for a 6th man than starting point. I’m all for letting him test restricted free agency and matching if it’s a team friendly deal
I’m a big supporter of KPJ but I’d rather take Jaden Ivey in the draft and move Porter to SF If we can’t get a dominant true ballin point in the draft, I’d honestly ride it with Porter until the end of next season. I can handle the rebuild and find the development fun to watch. Really want Porter to be our point but he needs to get back to last season form and get out of his own head
Can’t stand him, don’t care he made them tonight those were terrible shots. Could’ve easily cost us a win there.
I wonder why kpj deleted Twitter. I mean it could be a good thing, he doesn't need the distraction. I know there's been alot of negative energy towards him.
KPJ shot over 50% and only had 3 turnovers. Let's keep it up, buddy! For the love of god make it 2 games in a row! Baby steps!
21 years old, first year at a new position, having ups and downs is not a shock. Clearly has talent, whether it fits here or not is what they are trying to find out. Meanwhile, guy has a monster game against an in-state rival and all some people can do is b**** about him instead of saying "good game kid"..... 21 years old is not fully developed, we have a lot of very young developing players, if you are ok with one developing, you should to be ok with them all for the good of the Rockets!
