Seriously dude? Did you watch the highlights for the game on there? I guess showing highlights of lebron taking 20 shots for 20 some points is more important than the great plays we made all game long. He is an attention w****....retiring 23?!?!?! Wtf? I couldn't believe it when he was trying to stir crap up by doing that, and jordan responded to his suggestion in a pretty cold/harsh manner. He doesn't need lebron "Doing" anything for him. The guy is a drama queen/ attention w****, get over it.
hilarious because if he was on the Rockets you would be fine with his "antics". Honestly, you see the flaws in him because he is on an opposing team. If he was here you'd be riding the Lebron train along with everyone in this forum
This i disagree with. Tmac is in his own class. There won't be a star as physically gifted as him and willing to throw it all away. Lebron is a better athlete and CLEARLY one of the top 20 players of all time now, but unlike mcgrady he hasn't relied solely on his athleticism or made stupid excuses. Guys like tmac could have changed the entire game had they just had the right attitude. College would have done him wonders.
Don't imprint your blind fanboi-ism on everyone else here. IF (a big IF) he was a Rocket and acting the way he does, I would put up with it for the good of the team as long as we are winning, but I would still complain about his serious lack of sportsmanship. Some of us old school guys expect a certain level of sportsmanship in athletics, its the way we were raised. If you kids want to put up with it, thats your prerogative, but dont assume the rest of us are ready to fall to the ground and kiss the feet of your idol just cause you think it's cool.
Well thats obviously b.c you are negating the "Homerism" factor. Obviously you will always want your team to get the foul whether it was right or not. Nobody in this forum has anything against lebron, he isn't even in the same conference, don 't see how it can be clearer than that. Are you sure you aren't a cavs fan? You seem pretty unconditional in his defense especially since you got worked up and took it personally in your first post. Regardless of what your opinions are, word of advice, that stuff doesn't sit too well over here so try to remain respectful and maintain objectivity .
If only Yao would have been fortunate enough to play with players like Kobe, Wade or Lebron. His team's have never been that good.....
Yo get this red dot out from under my name it doesn't belong there. As for your comment, I understand what you're talking about with sportsmanship, but have any of the superstars in NBA history shown great sportsmanship? When you get to the dominant level that these players are it's almost human nature not to show respect for your opponent. You want to win so badly you learn to hate your opponent so you can will yourself to victory. You take it personal when you lose to someone who out performed you. When Lebron didn't shake Dwight Howards hand after he lost in the playoff series I don't really blame him (and neither did Dwight) because both players know how much winning means. To answer to everyone's comments about why Lebron dances around and is an "entertainer"...... is this not the same think we see from shaq on a weekly bases? Shaq craves the attention as much as Lebron does, however, no one gets on his case about it. That's just Lebron's personality. Some may hate it and some may love it, but it's not a bad thing unless he's insulting the opposing team. Plus, if they have a problem with it just go out and shut Lebron down, otherwise, shutup. Lebron doesn't speak negatively about the officiating (no more than any normal player would, he doesn't call out his teammates or opposing players, doesn't get in trouble with the law, and does a lot for his community outside of basketball. For people to call him "childish" for those bashing his antics is outrageous to me because it's his personality..... just like Shaq...... just like Dwight....... the man like's to have fun (and with his abilities he deserves it). End of story
No sh** rookie. Obviously if he were here we'd want him to do good, but like people have said, we wouldn't be too happy with his lack of sportsmanship at times. Every sports fan is biased in terms of praising their favorite players, but that doesn't mean we don't see their flaws. With the exception of you of course, who can't see anything that's bad about Lebron.
People here dont like flopping, and get upset at Scola when he does it. Its not impossible for home fans to call out their players when they step out of line.
another thing man..... don't call me a rookie and think yourself superior to me because you have "member" status under your name in a sports forum...... It really means nothing so the fact you brought it up just shows how insecure you are
Why should I? You haven't provided one reasonable explanation or counter to everything i've said. I already told you it wouldn't sit too well with the mods if you kept this act going. You will probably be banned.
Just because he is avoiding crimes does not mean he is mature. He disrespects his team by wearing a Yankees cap and flashing to the cameras with it. He walks off the court before the game is finished. He refuses to shake hands with the other players. He dances on the court. He requests videos of a high school baller dunking on him confiscated to protect his own image. He is a great player, but with an even greater ego.
