I agree. Francis is a very valuable trade commodity. He's actually quite good. The only question is can he make the leap and there will always be teams who think he can. Like I said, he's still got time to make that leap too.
Believe me, you don't want SF3 to play in NYC or ANY other big market with nasty-tempered fans like Philly. Francis would be an absolute joy on a losing team/losing franchise that does not expect to ever win and make it big in the playoffs. He needs somewhere where the fans are wowed by his ahtletic abilities and care more about that than winning. I think a GS Warriors or a Toronto or a Charlotte or a NO would work nicely for him. He just is not a real winner, and as I said before, his career track will resemble that of Stephon Marbury, who is just as talented of a PG but who just doesn't 'get it'. I love Steve-O though, and the memories I have of him picking up Yao at the airport in his Hummer, and him shoving Amare in the chest after he dunked on Yao, and the inspired fashion he played with in the playoffs against the Lakers is what will stick with me. Sadly, we just had to give up a star to get back a star, and not just him, but Cat annd Cato as well. Yah well, enough living in the past, I think people should just revere those moments we had with SF3 and Cat and the rest and move on. I think at the end of the day, we are a better team for that trade and the moves JVG made later on to strengthen the team.
