Why isn't Bush's cowardice during Vietnam an important issue in the election? Bush campaigned largely last time on his "character". He might try that tactic again.

It is important to bring up Bush' cowardly behavior during the Vietnam War. He constantly is trying to be a he-man hero dressed in action suits and tough talking and all. His actions should be used to judge his character and truthfullness.

That is so odd, who would think that somebody goes to fight an unjust war in order to serve their country, actually kills another human being, saves the lives of some people on his boat, sees others who he is no doubt close to, would end up seeing that point as a mjaor part of his life.

There are plenty of people who couldn't deal with that experience at all, and for someone like Kerry who was there and did all of that, I don't doubt that it could be a fram of reference for a lot of different things. It was no doubt an important mile stone in his life, possibly the most important one to this point. So for him to bring it up or talk about it, is only normal.
