I think the reason Ashleigh was crying was because Earl would give her some fatherly advice in private, off camera, and she was genuinely sad to see him leave.
See, that's why I agree with everyone who thinks Matt is the real actor. He can't possibly be that much of a boob! I think he's in with the producers and they are getting over on the "actors". They're getting over on all us us too. I can't stop watching.
ITS TUESDAY AGAIN!!!! Finally. I wait all week for each new episode. Hope this serves as a reminder for those of you who forgot. Joe Schmo!! Best show ever.(yes, that was in the comic book guy's voice from simpsons)
Good episode tonite. I like how they keep twisting it so Hutch stays. Next week someone will get kicked because of a rules violation so I think Hutch will survive again. I would not be surprised if it comes down to Mat tand Hutch. Since Hutch is kind of Matt's nemesis that seems to make the most sense. I did finally see the "Earl had to Die" episode. I liked how they played Matt with Ashleigh and he just turned on a dime and tried to set her up.
Two funniest moments so far on the show : 1) Hutch having to wash Earl's feet. Those were the most jacked up feet outside of a zoo. That was nasty. 2) Brian dropping his pants and riding Matt while Matt kept a straight face and tried to be "Master Debater". That was horrific. ... or am I missing a moment or two? I hope Matt doesn't turn out to be an actor because I could hang out with this dude all day. He's cool. Matt for Governor of California.
I really think the producers are setting the actors up here, it's so great. By the way, why isn't Matt on the Texan's O Line? Did you see his driving skills, did a great job getting under the pads. He's one crazy b*stard that's for sure, but I'd hang out with him. Can't wait to see what would happen if they got alchohol involved hehe.
Saw an episode yesterday for the first time, thought the same thing. Or ... If he isn't an actor, then they've probably tried this show several times with different "Joe's", and now they've finally found one who'll make the biggest ass of himself.
Good funniest moments DoD. Here are mine in no paricular order: Kip saying "Aye, aye Captain" to Earl as Earl is leaving the show Kip performing horrible magic in the talent contest (Kip is a comic genius) The Hutch singing a America the Beautiful with a straight face at the talent contest Anytime Matt gets that crazy wide-eyed look going Ashleigh doing a body face plant for her art work in the talent contest (as you can see I realy got a kick out of the talent contest) Dr. Pat's talent contest rendition of a bad relationship with her therapy dolls while trying not to crack up Anytime Ralph says, "...go back to your miserable existence working for the man" or "ashes to ashes, dust to dust. You are dead to us." Next weeks episode looks good with Molly's boyfreind coming to visit the house and calling her a slut while she is handcuffed to Matt for losing a challenge.
Oh yeah, the slo mo repeats of Dr. Pat getting Terry Tate'ed by Matt were oddly funny. I felt bad for her but still had to laugh. The slo mo's were funny because she's all smiles and waving her hands as it started, then...... *BOOM*! Matt TKO's her and she's calling for help.
I think my favorite part of the last episode was Matt going nuts on Dr. Pat. They tried to dramatize it but it didn't work on me. Only funny.
Man, this show is oddly addicting. I can't stop watching it, and I detest "reality tv". Matt is such a goober. His antics hit a little too close to home for me... I couldn't stop laughing when he laid out Dr Pat. He just kept right on going. Even before she hit the ground, he had moved on to his next victim. My favorite thing about that show is the eviction ceremony. I was pissed that the host didn't throw Dr. Pat's plate into the fireplace. That's the best part. And what's up with that 'immunity jacket'? It looks like something Phyllis Diller would wear. Hilarious!
They re-run it all week long. Some of this stuff is funnier when you view it, but let's see : They had a game where you get handcuffed to another contestant and get covered in honey. You both then roll around in money then walk over to a bucket where you pull the dollars off each other and put them in the bucket. Whichever couple had the least amount has to stay handcuffed the rest of the day. Matt was chained to Molly and they "lost" (they really didn't seem to have the least). Odd sideshow to all this was the fact the host (Ralph?) was pissed he had to wear a bee costume during this and said it was wrecking his career since this was his first national tv appearance. Matt tried to console the guy but ended up laughing his ass off at him because he looked like a moron in a bee outfit. While they're handcuffed, Molly's "boyfriend" shows up to sing a song and play the gee tawr for her. He sees her handcuffed to Matt and in a bikini and goes ape. Calls her a slut or something. What was funny is that Matt's handcuffed to her and getting dragged around behind her as she chases him down. The Ashleigh/Molly hatin' continued. The "smarmy host" took Molly into the bedroom to console her. Ashleigh flipped. Somewhere in the show Matt just came out in front of everybody and told Ashleigh to shut the hell up with the whining about Molly and she should iron things out with Molly or whatever because he was sick of her coming to him with all the "crap". He blew his top and blasted her in front of everybody. lol. For the immunity robe contest, they had a model covered in chocolate and contestants had to lick letters that were hidden in the chocolate off her and try to unscramble the letters they found into words. We found out that Matt hates the taste of chocolate and nearly gagged and vomitted a few times. Molly refused to do it. The other guys were on her with their tongues like snow on Everest. Ashleigh stayed around the calves and ended up winning immunity. Hutch the ******* gets booted off the show by the producers because he continued to physically threaten Kip the Gay Guy. This was announced at the end during the ceremony where they vote a member off. Hutch refuses to leave and as the host is about to toss the plate into the fire Hutch grabs it from him and hurls it in himself. He leaves cussing his head off. Since that qualified as an ejection no one else was removed. Not sure if Ashleigh's immunity carries over. You know, I typed all this, then re-read it and said to myself... I'm an idiot.
Well, Matt's immunity didn't carry over, so I don't think Ashleigh's will. What a freaking awesome show. I can't stop watching.
This show defintely comes under the heading of guilty pleasures. I cant help it. It cracks me up seeing these actors going overboard and Matt not even snapping. How could he actually think that these people are acting in a normal way? Which leads me to think he really does know and is playing them along. btw...that chocolate eating challange was awesome. I wonder why one of the guys didnt lick the chocolate eaks clean? I would have...
The only thing that pissed me off was them kicking Hutch off. He is probably my favorite character. Last night best moment (and possibly the show's best moment) came from Hutch. They were sitting at the table and Matt was asking what everyone's 3 favorite moments were from their experience so far. Hutch said his were Dr. Pat's first orgasm, second orgasm, and third orgasm. Of course, everyone freaked. Classic!! I also love the fact that he banged Dr. Pat and then voted her off. And the photo album episode was so over the top and hilarious, I'm surprised Matt didn't figure the whole thing out.
Hutch throwing the plate was awesome. It shattered and went everywhere. FYI he is one of the cast members on Six Feet Under. I forget who he plays but I saw it in an interview. They found out that Matt really liked the show after they hired him(Hutch) and they made him dye and style his hair and grow a beard. imdb.com has a picture of him and he looks totally different.
That one was good, but the innuendo he made in the hot tob that disgusted them to the point where they just stood up and left was better. Can't remember the exact line, but it was something along the lines of: "You know, you need to show Dr. Pat more respect." "Oh, I showed her respect. I respected all over her."
I honestly thought Brian would be gone before Hutch. What was the deal with them blurring out Brian's umm... man-boobs when they were doing that money/honey contest? I was laughing thinking it was a joke on Brian because he had boobs they were trying to censor.
