    That's why I said many, not all.

    Now whether being paid millions is considered underpaid or not after investing millions in development make one underpaid is a matter of perspective.

    Peña’s quote after winning mvp showed truly amazing character and maturity for a guy his age. Almost as impressed by that as I have been his play on the field.

    Players under team control are underpaid relative to their value even if some of them make a lot of money through arbitration. If that wasn’t the case, owners wouldn’t be fighting so hard to keep players under team control.

    Pena only committed one defensive error for the entire 2022 postseason run. (game 2 of the WS)

    Pena did not GiDP ONCE for the entire 2022 postseason run.

    Probably one of the greatest rookie season for an infield player. I honestly don't know how Pena is going to top his 2022 season.

    Easy, if his adjustment of removing the leg kick and quickening up his swing holds from last august into next season, he could easily crank out a 125 OPS+ year with GG defense, and churn out a high-level all star/down ballot MVP year.
