I think they probably did it to make sure they didn't get the same type of backlash questions from last week. This way no one can call and yell and moan to JVG lol.
I'm not exactly on JVG's bandwagon but you can't always blame the offense. Many nights their shooting is horrid. Find me a coach whose offense is strictly dunks and layups then we'll be ok.
I know they do a weekly show with the Houston Coaches on football and basketball. I always hear about the Don Capers show that is done weekly and JVG always does a weekly show also. This is like the fourth time I have heard JVG on the show. As far as time and day, I don't know when. I believe its every Wed. I remember the day before the Dallas game he called in and that was Wed of last week. As far as time goes, sometimes its at 4 and sometimes 4:30. I think the Don Capers show is Monday, not sure about the time. So, lets listen in next week and see if its on Wed or if anyone knows exact day and time, let us know.
I think what xiki is trying to say is that next week JVG may not be the coach of a houston team anymore
Just so you guys know...The Rockets arranged that suprise interview with Marv. Not 610. HOWEVER...also know that given the opportunity to get a Marv Albert on the air...JVG show or not...I would do it everytime. Marv and Jeff worked together for awhile and are quite good friends. It was a change of pace for the show and was refreshing and fun. And for all of you conspiracy theorists that think it is about not getting callers on the air to ask tough questions share some of your weed with me. We would have pulled that **** last week if that type of stuff went on. It doesn't though. Hahaha, thanks for the encouragement...I assure you, I will not be as nervous next time. I will call again. I am not out to dog the coach (although I think he is not the right coach for the team that we have right now) I just wanted to find out why he does what he does. Oh yeah, I do remember it being one time at 6:30 in the morning, but I told myself I was not going to get up that early to talk to JVG. I might say something bad to him being that its that early.
