From that nonsense you spout, one would be silly to think Green would be far and away the best rookie scorer. But... but how come he isn't? Heck. How come if no one is in his stratosphere, why the hell is he not even #1?
He’s clearly talking about potential. Green has shown flashes of being an elite 3 level scorer. That’s exactly what people were saying about him predraft. In his best games, which is what you judge rookies by since they are inconsistent by default, he has shown range out to three, that he can get to the line and make free throws, and good finishing ability near the basket.
Could have put it in another way..... that whole 'nobody is near his stratosphere' is another fake hyperbole language, it is not down to earth at all. Exactly the language click baiters are using nowadays.
It's funny that some people still think I care one way or the other about Mobley. My interest was the Rockets not wasting the #2 pick, not any individual player.
Jalen has only taken 32 shots from mid range and shot them at a horrific percentage. How the **** has he shown flashes of being an elite 3 level scorer?
There's a select few Mobley Cultists left in the forum. Trying to use logic and reasoning with them is foolhardy and ill advised. They'll never look at Green objectively, even years down the road. It must suck to feel the need to not only denigrate your own rookie, but to actively do the same to fans of the team that enjoy watching them play.
HAHAHAHA The best thing about your post is the fact I've not once said anything about being a fan of Mobley. How embarrassing for you. No, I'm just a guy who recognises a bad basketball player when they play for the team I follow. And isn't petrified to say it. You do you though crazy. I pray for you and I that one day Green begins to have more than 1 good gave out off 5. Haha who am I kidding. He's going to win MVP this year.
It's just the way Green fanbois cope. They project their ridiculous "player only fan" BS on others in an effort to deflect from positions they can't possibly defend.
Did you think the rebuild was not gonna be rough even if we drafted Mobley or anybody else? And this coming from a guy who wanted Mobley, let's not take any and every opportunity to **** on Green.
He hurt his elbow what does lanky, light in the pants have to do with anything. You sound ridiculous. Do you really think Green is interacting physically at 50% of the rate of Mobley? The real kicker is lanky and light in the pants describes Green to a T, it's amazing the length you guys go to to make a terrible point.
Nah. You just said Green is the next Corey Brewer. Thats not something somebody trying to be objective would say. It's pretty obv you have a thing for Mobley dont deny it.
That's a very real possibility.... and it has nothing at all to do with any other player. Green, like Brewer, is a super skinny, athletic player with little to no skills and a streaky shot. Both were top 10 picks for a reason, Brewer never improved..... we'll see if Green does.
Skills? No, he doesn't. You can say he's more athletic, but someone without any basketball skills at all is not more "skilled" than anyone. Right now Green is a super raw, super skinny freak athlete that we're hoping some day learns basketball skills.
Brewer entered the league at age 21 and averaged 5 pts for his rookie season. Green is already better than Brewer. The fact that you'd make that comparison just shows how biased you are. You keep saying Green has no skills lol he aint exactly limited to layups and dunks. His shots havent been falling and he needs to develop his decision making but nobody credible has said Green has no skills.
