Loved Booker, could tell he was going to be good, and hopefully great, feel the same about Green, don't know what his ceiling is...will be, but feel confident he is going to be good.

Man I really should be cocky today, most of the things I have been saying about this team are coming true:

    - Stressing that we can trade Wood because he offers no defense, quits easily, and is in the way of Sengun and possible future big.
    - Saying that KJ Martin is better than House and House should be let go.(Several people said House was better and there was a big disscussion over it LMAO)
    - Saying that Sengun's passing game and post game will translate to the NBA and he should start.
    - Saying that Theis being in the starting lineup with Wood was killing the team because he cant shoot and is either in the paint ruining space or spotting up like he can shoot.
    - I compared Jalens game to Lavine and Booker and said his ceiling was Kobe.
    - Saying that KPJ shouldnt be a starting pg because its too much responsibility and it puts too much pressure on him. (DD called me a KPJ hater for saying this)
    - People telling me that Jalen is a bust when I knew it was about Spacing (While Stephen A defending Silas and blaming Green and DD attacking me for saying Green has more handles that he wasnt showcasing to that point)

Finally I think that Silas, Gordon, Theis and Wood should be gone by the off season. And I think that KPJ shoul dbe a 3 either starting or off the bench. But I would say bench with nice minutes while Mathews starts. Depth Chart:

    Sengun/Garuba
    Tate/KJ Martin/Nawaba
    Mathews/KPJ
    Green/Brooks/Queen
    Josh Christoper/Augustine/Nix

If we really want to develop players while rebuilding this would be best. We see what we have while hopefully getting a top 3 pick.

Booker has not done anything substantial without CP3 yet.

Give him credit for bedding the Kendall.

They'll either give all credit for the Suns' recent success to CP3 or compare Green to another score-first SG that's never had success like Zach Lav....(looks at standings). Never mind, they'll just keep hating and say Green is like neither of them.

    EDIT: Right on cue...

He is a star player, not a superstar but a star/all star level player.

Before we drafted JG, Booker was the guy I compared him to in terms of impact on offense, so this is encouraging to see. My hope is that JG becomes our Booker and we can draft another cornerstone player. Hoping that we draft a Kobe or Lebron at #2 is just totally unrealistic, if Green turns out to be a #2 guy on the team, THAT IS OK, our rebuild is not going to be resolved in one draft.

Some of you seem interested in the comparisons just for the fun of it and to kind of gauge where JG is right now so here are busty Jalen Green's stats compared to top 3 rookie of the year candidate, consensus number 1 overall prospect, and most NBA ready player in the draft Cade Cunningham's that I looked up a day or 2 ago. Funny how quickly those narratives get built and shows how silly it is to freak out over a rough stretch of games. Highs and lows are part of the process. One is a bust and one is in the early conversation for rookie of the year.

You have to get another front court star player IMHO or a very good PG.

    Or both.

Booker is a shooting guard and doe shis job well, CP3 is point guard and does his job well. The point is we got sg covered we need a real pg.

I wonder what people would say if it was Jalen Green that threw something and stormed out of the arena at half time for getting called out.

It would not have set well with the Anti Green Geriatric Commission. Sensible people could have managed the situation (as is happening with Scooter) - especially parents, but if Jalen did that it would be PAGES of "in my time" stories.

Hopefully they would say, he should be punished and allowed to apologize and make amends - because sometimes competitive people lose their ****.
