Sure, appreciate the subtle correction. So be it: Were Laker fans enamored with Ingram and D-lo? Were there Ingram/D-lo cults on their forums? Is that a universal #2 pick phenomenon? What about Lonzo? I don’t follow Laker forums much…
One thing I did notice with Green last night is he is actually learning how to finish in traffic. He had a couple of nice mid air adjustments. Hopefully he adds more and more tricks as the rest of the season goes on. Combined with bulking up over the summer he could start to look real nice next season.
Where is this happening? Are you talking about the 2 posters who are obviously trolling? I see maybe 5 guys who say anything negative about Green consistently and 4 of those guys are just trolling the Green fans, I don't understand why anybody would take them seriously. If we ignore the people who are trying to get a rise out of folks on both sides, we can have honest discussions. It's amazing we have to have sides when it's concerning Green.
It's surely more than two trolls. I can't even post a complimentary quote from Shaq referencing Green without you yourself immediately bringing up Kobe. I never mentioned Kobe anywhere in that quote. Nor did Shaq. Only you.
Stupidity will entice people to put forth more intelligent positions. Stop saying stupid things if you want people to stop correcting you.
Thanks for making my point. I already said I made a mistake thinking it had anything to do with Kobe, and yet you think every time you say anything good about Green I respond with vitriol. So yeah it's 2 posters who actually respond with vitriol and animosity with stuff about Green, but you think anything that can be construed as negative is a hit piece. And for the record, there were people in here using what Shaq said about Kobe as a way to prop up Green, which is where I made the mistake. But hey, keep getting in your feelings about Green.
And? I can't have an opinion now? The real question is why care so much what anybody says about Green anyway. Do you think defending him at all cost makes him better?
The only reason I objected to the Shaq quote was the last line when he said Green will definitely become a superstar, which is ridiculous to anyone paying attention. Otherwise I had no problems with it
It is interesting that Shaq felt obligated to chime in on the rookie situation here in the 1st place.
