very true. He doesn't run sharp/crisp routes and I don't think he understands what it takes to get open, i.e. making slight adjustments to find the soft spot or making it easier on the qb.

I think we can all pencil in a WR for Texans first round pick.

If he came 'back' to the ball he would no longer be in the endzone, therefore there would be no chance to win the game. He went to the back of the endzone where the 'room' was supposed to be

I'd still prefer a nose tackle, if there's a good one.

another thing, on that last play, which was basically turned to sandlot football, the receiver has to have chemistry with the Qb. Jacoby has none with Matt out on the field. That's a play where Dre would have drawn a lot of attention, leaving owen open for the TD. Stating the obvious , but this is one example of how much andre means to the offense. More than anything, we need andre back fast.

Cody and Earl have been serviceable.

With JJ almost confirming he can't be a full time #2 and no way in hell a #1, then the texans needs to get some young talent in there that is/was a big time prospect.

Some of the guys undrafted guys on their practice squad are fine projects, but they need someone now.

Just get Moss or Owens for this season and roll with it!

Screw battlefighting with what we've got or going for "boy scouts".

I'm tired of seeing Jacoby Jones party it up at basically every club in Houston thinking he's some sort of superstar or something.

Kendall Wright or Ryan Broyles would be just dandy with me.

Should have signed Braylon Edwards with that money.

Hell, we should have called Plaxico right when his ass got outta jail. At least he can block.

Just another eff up by the FO.

Uncle Bob only wants "good ole boys".

been saying everything in this thread about JacobyDrop for years

Anytime I've talked about him, it has only been as JacobyDrop or JacobyFumble. I'm glad he made me less nervous as a return man last year, but I don't want him on the field as a WR ever. Didn't last year or the year before, and definitely don't now.

    Please, TO.

8 catches in 5 games (2 starts). And none of them for touchdowns. Unbelievable.

So glad we re-signed him. We're really getting our money's worth. But you can't blame them for doing it after his HUGE breakout season last year (3 TD's...)

Not gonna happen. We haven't even drafted a WR since we drafted Jacoby in 2007 (unless you count Holliday who was never expected to actually play WR.)

We've all been saying for a few years that we need help at WR behind Andre and management has don't nothing. I don't really expect anything different, not unless Smith/Kubes are let go. If they do draft a WR, I seriously doubt it'll be in the first. I'd say it's more likely that we don't draft a WR at all than we draft one in the first round.

Methinks that NT will be the second round pick.

The time has come to draft AJ's replacement and start him as WR2 or WR1 when AJ gets hurt.

I wouldn't mind Jeff Fuller, either.

A&M fans are pretty unhappy about his lethargic play this season.

Edit: Kendall Wright or Ryan Broyles are going to be better value picks. LOL - didn't see your post Donny.

Jeffrey is going to be off the board unless the texans make a deal with the devil. ...blackmon as well.

dwight Jones and Criner are a couple of other guys who interest me. Criner isnt a burner but he routinely makes big plays
