You might need this. At the very least, I know you know at least one person that does.

First teenager in the history of the NBA with 3 consecutive 20 points and 10 rebounds in a game. Yes ever. Nobody else has done it. Amazing.

Started at center, but was the primary defender on Jayson Tatum all game. Insane.

Some people can look at the game and see that these flashes are not just flashes.

Others can't, and so they see themselves as wise and patient when in reality they're just waiting to see what the rest of us already see.

Has it been brought up yet that the Jalen Green apology form went out around the same time last year? Dude has shown zero signs of progress since. I really hope it's just a sophomore slump, and I never really gave up on Smith to begin with, but the point is sports fans always jump the gun when it comes to trying to get people to eat crow... Nobody needs to fill out any kinda apology or about face for another year or two.

I don't agree with this take either. He's had higher usage but maintained basically the same efficiency while playing with less help than last year since we've traded away literally every veteran who actually played any minutes. It's not the big leap forward you'd love to see, but I see incremental progress.

    Your argument defeats itself.
If it's too early to "eat crow" surely it's too early to cast aspersions as well...right?

    Turnabout is fair play.

Except the improvement for Bari comes in the form of developing better handles and finishing more consistently, which are areas we have seen steadily improve over the course of the season. Like seriously, his handle went from "Please don't put the ball on the floor" to "I wish it was a bit tighter" for many fans. His current shooting is less improvement and more "return to form" as the guy has been a pure shooter essentially all his life until this rookie season. That is why people like me was behind him all the way; we were betting off the body of his life's work, not knee jerking over a seasonal anomaly. Now, he most likely won't shoot near 50% from deep over the course of the entire season, but I do anticipate him hitting close to 40%.
