The idea might be kind of cool. I would like to start or live in a town that was set up like a kingdom. It would have a monarch, nobles, and a royal court. Everyone who lived there would have to live by the rules of the kingdom. That would be a blast.
I don't like the overall idea of an 'enclave', I feel strongly that contradicts the spirit of America.
Yes! Let's make it official....when local, state and federal officeholders are sworn in, they should now place their hand on the Constitution and swear to uphold the bible, rather than placing their hand on the bible and swearing to uphold the Constitution.
The only challenge to the US Constitution nowadays is coming from the White House, specifically the Oval Office.
Cool, lets make an enclave for every Chinatown in this country so that everybody lives there has to communicate in Chinese and their calendar switches to Lunar calendar.
I took a look at the article again and realized that there already are counties in TX and other states that are still dry. Also many municipalities have special gang laws that make it a crime to be a member of or display gang symbols even if they aren't engaged in criminality. I'm with Tigermission and others that the idea of such an exclusive enclave seems like a bad idea nothing about what is being proposed would seem to undermine the US Constitution since these things are already being done by many communities.
Dude! Who cares about the brown people? We made this country. We wrote the constitution. It's not like there were any brown people here when we got here. Advantage: Us.
I don't like the overall idea of an 'enclave', I feel strongly that contradicts the spirit of America. David Koresh disagrees. I actually kinda like the idea of enclaves. All of the crazy mofos would congregate there, so they are easier to find when the government needs to gets its hating on.
