Awesome; so we can add "stupid" to "obnoxious" and "frontrunners" whenever describing Ranger fans; good to know - thanks, Egon.

I heard the local D/FW 105.3 The Fan DJs radio show the other day and the DJs were saying how much they hate the Astros...like no other. They did not give a reason. I was thinking if I was a Rangers fan or DJ...then I would freaking love the Astros because they win most of those games. It's because of us they have won the division the last two seasons in a row. We should hate them with a vengeance...but they hate us? You'll are the ones kicking our butts every year! I hate them even more because I had to listen to that. I hate everything about the Rangers! HATE ISN'T A STRONG ENOUGH WORD!!!! WE WILL HAVE OUR REVENGE ONE DAY! LET ME KNOW WHEN THAT DAY COMES....WILL YOU? LOL

To be fair, they hate the city of Houston in general because they think our fans are delusional. They also hate Lance Berkman, Eli Manning, Dwayne Wade, Deandre Jordan, and several others. They just can't seem to let things go

An October collapse wouldn't be too shabby.

Um... we had our drafted catcher play center field as well... granted, he was Craig Biggio...

I loved watching Hamels choke. I also loved the post-game commentary where Hamels was "pitching too strongly in this game because of a longer break in the pitching rotation due to the delay till the start of the playoffs and, as a result, could not command his pitches that had too much power on them". Granted, there is probably some truth in that and he was probably more amp-ed up than usual. I just found it amusing that he was "pitching too strongly". Spoken like a true loser not used to choking. When I first heard the score was 7-0 Toronto, I admit I let out a huge laugh. I just hope it continues when Darvish pitches next game. I really don't think Darvish is back to form. He had some pretty bad games toward the end of the season there. I hope he gets lit up. Finally, there is nothing better than watching Bannister squirm in the post-game commentary like the dirty worm that he is. I hate that guy (obviously). :)

You guys know the Rangers could win the next 3 games by 1 run and win the series with a negative run differential .

As much as I would hate that , it would be pretty hillarious and the reaction here would be worth it . Given , of course the Rangers lose in the next round .

JA Happ is 20-4? What the hell happened to him that allowed him to have a career season at 33? This guy was an extremely mediocre Astros pitcher.

I do remember how terrible he was... but I also remember Lance "Fat Elvis" Berkman playing center field.

Going to the Pirates and working with Ray Searage changed his career. Dude works magic with a lot of pitchers that play there.
